kingvercetti
No, we cannot contact them and no, we are not mind readers and don't know about a PC release. Probably not, as it didn't sell all too well.
Rashon.
Well, no consideration right now but I'd like it. There is a chance. Sna Andreas released it for PC 1 year after it's PS2 releasing.
Exkabewbikadid
Someone could always try to get a staff member to conduct a simple poll asking if people have an interest in a PC version or not. That'd be more productive than these recurring threads.
epoxi
I don't think R* need to worry too much about poor sales: they musn't have dedicated many resources to develop the PS2 version of LCS: it's an ultra-low detail port, and probably hardly cost the company anything. Anyway, according to many reviews, GTA:LCS on the PS2 is a real let-down, and isn't up to par with the rest of the series. If you want LCS, get it on PSP, or start a community mod to port the game over to PC by editing GTAIII's mission files etc. Even then, it's probably best to stay away from LCS unless you have a PSP: you might lose faith in R* and the GTA series after delivering your 100th car without damaging it *yawn* . CaliMex
Do you know what sucks the most? I bought the game for PS2 and I liked it but it was a bit disappointing. The sucky part is that if it does come out for PC, I might buy it again. I like playing with the mouse and keyboard rather than the targeting system on a controller. I can use a controller if I want (like for driving) on the PC but for running around I want the keyboard and mouse. I sort of gave up and accepted that the game might not come out on PC, that is why I bought the PS2 version. The reason why is because the game would be too old if they thought about releasing it for PC. While the PS2 version might have good sales but not as much as the past 3 major GTA releases on consoles or not enough to warrant a PC release as well. They just threw the LCS port as a bone to console gamers and to make some extra money while PC gamers are left out. This game was also created for a portable console that may not have as much as much success as a game created for the major home consoles; developers usually don't port portable games to home consoles, they port it the other way. Porting it to another major "console", the PC, may not seem too profitable. This game was created by R* Leeds with the help of R* North and I am guessing they are working together on VCS. R* North also needs to concentrate on GTA IV so they may not have much time for leisure. There is no way I'm paying for a PSP. I could use that $250 - $300 dollars and buy older games that I never bought but were great or just save it for the next gen consoles. I'm gonna wait for the PS3 to come and see which console does better, 360 or PS3. The Wii, I don't know about it but if it is great then the $250 rumored price tag is not a lot for me. TruXter
The Wii, I don't know about it but if it is great then the $250 rumored price tag is not a lot for me. that is what I am seeing.. is a port of lcs and vcs for pc in a package.... as the last game for pc.... then they port all games from gta -grand theft auto 2 -gtaIII -gtaVC -Gta San Andreas -lcs and vcs to the Wii.... by the time they release them all... everyone will have forgotten the hot coffee mod, and san andreas might actually make it's actuall worth. CaliMex
that is what I am seeing.. is a port of lcs and vcs for pc in a package.... as the last game for pc.... then they port all games from gta -grand theft auto 2 -gtaIII -gtaVC -Gta San Andreas -lcs and vcs to the Wii.... by the time they release them all... everyone will have forgotten the hot coffee mod, and san andreas might actually make it's actuall worth. I doubt any Nintendo system will ever have a GTA game on it but if one console does get it, there is a greater chance that any ported games would be GTA IV and after but not the previous games. Those previous games would be too old unless they are ported through their downloading service like the previous Nintendo games (I also find that unlikely). They do have a downloading service right? AndyGanteks
if we could see hot coffie if we could see LCS a PSP exclusive then ported to PS2 if we could seee JAmes Earl CAsh in MAnhunt and in Bully why we couldnt see LCS on PC.And if we couldnt see it on PC someone will make a SAn ANdreas conversion of LC in 98 so i guess there's no worriing time. Asif
I like the chances of a (LCS + VCS) Package release for PC around next year. Both Games should fit in a single DVD.
