Multiformat Gamer Posted June 28, 2006 Share Posted June 28, 2006 (edited) When CJ and The Truth recruit Dwaine and Jethro to work in the San Fierro garage, Truth says that they used to work in Vice City on boats until the mob took over their business. They can be seen smoking pot when you purchase the boatyard in Vice City, and even ask Tommy for a light. This Proves that the mafia took over Tommy's business' after Vice City finishes. Tommy's main enemies were the Forelli family, who are still abundant until CJ wipes them all out in the mission "St Mark's Bistro". This means that they took over Vice City and killed tommy. After you save Kent Paul from the desert, you do missions for him and Ken Rosenburg. Ken is back working for the mafia in san andreas. Which is even more proof that the mafia owns Vice City now. There have also been crazy rumours that tommy can be seen being chased by the police occasionally, and that he's working in Caligula's casino. Both are probably false, but I'll look into them. EDIT: im still confused on one of the missions on San Andreas called Freefall Salvatore says that he has to keep Kent Paul and Ken alive as someone thought higley of them or something maybe tommy might be alive but he could of sold some busineses to the liberty mob or give them as an alience offering. In the one before last mission of Vice city, Sonny Forelli sends his men down to try and take all of Tommies assets, but you end up stopping them. And Tommy runs the mafia out of vice, he kills Sonny, and he ends up running the city with Ken Rosenberg. 2. I think you are forgetting what time place CJ and San Andreas was in, it was 1992. If CJ wiped out all of the Forellies in 1992, how is it that LCS takes place in 1998 and one of your main enimies are um... the Forellies. His problems with drugs started in VC and towards the end when Tommy took over you could tell it was going to get worse. During a clip in The Introduction, you see Ken sniffing continuously and scratching his nose which indicates he still has a cocaine addiction. These addictions probably cost him his place in the Vercetti mob. With nothing left to do the feuding families in San Andreas knew of his previous handlings with the mob in Vice City and put him in the middle of it all. How does CJ killing a bunch of Forelli mobsters in Liberty City in 1991 or 1992 (I can't remember which) prove that they killed Tommy Vercetti in Vice City and took over his businesses? KM. I have the ps2 version and have yet to see the infamous tombstone of Tommy Vercetti. When San Andreas took place, CJ wiped out a sh*tload of Forellis at St. Mark's Bistro... contrary to some people's posts, the Forellis were still going strong in LCS. On page 5 of the LCS instruction manual, you'll see an interesting bit on Mayor R.C. Hole and his connection with the forellis. It also said that he had been running in office since 1992. It is evident that since the attack on St. Mark's bistro (Forelli territory, mind you), the forellis put Hole into government for security and political purposes. (and to maybe piss off Salvatore even more) Also, CJ shoots the 'leader' of the Forellis in an alleyway assult. I'm not sure who the leader is, but if he is Franco Forelli, it could've been possible that he was seriusly wounded during the assult, and therefore gotten more paranoid... leading to the conflicts in LCS. I don't have LCS, but I can tell you that Ken was in SA because of rehab. Watch The Introduction movie.. it explains a lot of things, showing Ken trying to call Tommy, and Ken at rehab. In 1971 when Tommy was jailed in Liberty City, he was about 20. 15 years later was the time of Vice City. He was about 35 years old. By the time of LCS which was 12 years after Vice City, he would be about 45 years old. He's wouldn't be that old and I still don't believe that Tommy's dead. Anyways , Tommy would have got very much pissed off after that thing in LCS that happens to his best buisness friend Avery gets killed by Toni . Let me see this thing... Tommy says in VC that his father worked on printworks in LC (the only printwork is the forelli one toni destroyed) . After that "SOMEONE " kills Avery, who was coming to demolish Forelli turf after making a deal with someone I BET ITS TOMMY!!! . His favorite fast food The Well Stacked Pizza (yes its mentioned in VC) is owned by Joe that renames it to Joe's Pizza , then Tony does missions for pizza thing and owns it and f*cks the business up (its not mentioned, but u can notice). Anyways, I don't think they whacked Tommy, he's the protaganist of one of their games, they might have use for him in VCS. I love both Tommy and Toni, so I often make up things to keep stuff cool between 'em, like, Avery and Tommy ain't such good friends anymore in 1998, because of ... epoxi Posted July 1, 2006 Share Posted July 1, 2006 I don't know why you think so high of Tommy...as if he's Jack Bauer or something, but I've never quite realised that a GTA main character can die: considering you can play the character for the next six years (from 1986 [VC], to 1992 [sA]; though you'd be an idiot to do so), in theory the character can't die. The final mission could be the infamous Harwood massacre that gets him sent to prison. But Liberty City has been done twice already. Tommy Vercetti was definitely the best protagonist in the GTA games. Toni Cipriani is dull as ditchwater however.
