Zeluran Posted June 25, 2006 Share Posted June 25, 2006 Okay, I played up through the missions useing cheats but I heard they might ruin game play. I got to a mission where you need to kill a driver of a limo and steal the car but the game blanks out there and I'm guessing it's because I used cheats to get this far and one screwed it up. It happens every time when I reload. So basicly I would like to know if anyone knows which cheats definatly DO NOT cause nasty game play problems so I can use them. I really just wanna listen to the story line and get through the game easily, I don't have time for really hard challenges which take me days to complete. Mainland Marauder Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 You should be able to use the jetpack cheat and most other cheats that do not affect pedestrian behavior (e.g. "Peds riot") without causing major problems. gutarjunky Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 i have used alot of cheats on tis game the only one i can think of that f*cks up the game is: peds riot other then that you can use alot of cheats just dont use peds riot and save thats bad i had to find out the hard way i put peds riot early in the game when i had to save madd dog the game kep scrwing up on that mission and i had to start the whole game all over again!!! that was disipointing!!!! I can't say for sure though because I've never used cheats in any save game for the purpose of playing through the storyline, so I am basing all this pretty much on secondhand accounts I've read here. lukearoo Posted July 1, 2006 Share Posted July 1, 2006 i personally belive that the cheats were put in simply to keep you entertained and to help you to explore the game, for example the jetpack cheat is good for getting onto rooftops i never save my game with cheats on or use them to help with missions, this defys the point of the game. please please enjoy this game as its designers intended.... do the story without cheating first time, then start again and muck about. **have you ever just driven around the map, its a work of art.** Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lol man... if you exit the game and come back in the Riot Mod is going off. And yes Riot Mod screwss up the game in many missions. like the first ryder mission with robbing the house. the noise bar is getiing filled. maybe there are more few cheats that screw your gameplay but i dont know.
