Arkimedes999
*1st off i'm not the same guy that posted the other house party thread -it's just a coincidence we have the same problem on the same day* OK, i had more than 1/2 of the story line complete and i checked my stats and it said: "missions attempted 66" "missions completed 65" I didn't want to get to the end of the game and find out i missed something and can't go back, so i started a new game. Now i found out where the problem is. When i am about to begin the OG Loc house party mission i check my stats: "missions attempted 22" "missions completed 22" then when i start the mission it tells me to get new clothes and a hair cut and the stats change: "missions attempted 23" "missions completed 22" even though i have new clothes and new hair after i get new clothes & haircut, i wait for it to get dark (so the party will start). Then i get a call from OG Loc asking me to show up to the party. Now my stats change to: "missions attempted 24" "missions completed 22" after i get to the party a gang war breaks out and i have to put in work. So i bust a cap in everyone's ass and i recieve "Mission Completed". But my stats say "missions attempted 24" "missions completed 23" So my question is: "is this OG Loc house party thing 1 mission or 2 missions". Cuz there's nothing left to do but start the next mission. Should i just ignore the mission counter and go by the 100% checklist? cuz i don't know if there are missions that you only get 1 shot at. or is 100% always possible? *the 100% checklist shows Loc's Party as only being 1 mission Edited June 10, 2006 by Arkimedes999
rubregg
I've had the exact same thing at the exact same spot, repeatedly - and it will happen a few more times later on in the game. All I can tell you is that I got to 100% anyway so I decided not to bother anymore... I guess it's kind of normal in the game though. For example later you'll have to do 8 separate trucking missions. Each of these increases the 'mission attempt' counter but only the last one gives you a 'mission complete' stat.
Arkimedes999
thx, that answers my question i guess the mission counter is just broken. I'll go by the 100% checklist instead. Edited June 11, 2006 by Arkimedes999
