System Error Posted July 3, 2006 Share Posted July 3, 2006 Actually, the 3 year thing has been in most of the GTA's.GTA3 - 2001 - 1998 LCS - 1995- 1992 San Andreas - 1989 (maybe VCS) - 1986 Vice City - 1983 (maybe VCS) Thing is, that theory disintegrates when you remember GTA Advance takes place in 2000 (although it does go into part of 2001, the bulk of the game takes place in the year 2000). TonyResta Posted July 5, 2006 Share Posted July 5, 2006 the intro could be sumthin like you are a respectable boss and are meeting another boss for a big drug deal, he wants to meet you and not sumone else so you need to go there, you give him the drugs and he gives you the money but then on the way to your car you get ambushed by the boss's gang and you are outnumbered so they take everything away from you, money, weapons, the car, the story would be about getting revenge on these guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As part of its outlook for its ongoing 2006 fiscal year, which ends on Halloween, the company said it is readying "a sequel of a Rockstar brand for a current-generation console system." (Emphasis added.) Though Take-Two did say it will release a new GTA game for the PlayStation Portable during that time, the statement eliminated any chance that a next-gen installment in the franchise will make its traditional late-October window. They are talking about a SEQUEL to Vice City, this means the game will probably take place in 1989, confirmed with a fact. LCS obviously takes place before the events of GTA III (In GTA III you need to kill salvatore, in LCS he is still alive), no matter what time they take place in. Ray leaves to what people consider to be ''vice city'' (or REAL Miami since GTA is in america) after the events of GTA III which is later then 1986.
