For some reason, I'm more excited about these screens, than for LCS. I really hope we get to see Ocean Beach, Downtown, and Washington Beach. Hopefully we'll see some new ped models as well, which will really clue us in on what time period VC Stories is set in. I'm looking forward to some pastels myself. The early LCS screens weren't really that impressive, but I have a feeling the VC Stories screens are gonna be pretty good. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

K^2 Posted June 10, 2006 Share Posted June 10, 2006 I enjoyed GTA3 back when I started playing it, but Vice City was the one that really sucked me in, becoming a primary reason for me to buy a PS2 just so that I can play San Andreas at release. For that reason, I am also more excited about seeing the VCS screens than I was about the ones for LCS, as I am more excited about the game itself. If any of the previous GTA releases are something to go by, the first magazines will get their screenshots within a month. If we are lucky, something might leak before they get printed, then we get them sooner. Prior to filing a bug against any of my code, please consider this response to common concerns. I remember being wowed when seeing the first Vice City Screenshots and just the totally new atomsphere the sunny and bright miami in the 80's. Wemhim123 Posted June 15, 2006 Share Posted June 15, 2006 GTA3 screens were released febuary the year it came out, VC was in July, SA was in summer too, same with LCS, it's always early the year it comes out(I checked the screens at gamespot), well, that's how soon they got them at least, so expect some around July or August probably, I hope. Adriaan Posted June 15, 2006 Share Posted June 15, 2006 The first LCS screens hit the web on June 12, 2005. Well they were scans from a magazine, but the first footage of the game. The magazine(s) got a preview at E3 2005, however Rockstar did confirm that nothing was shown at this years E3. So if it'll be this month they would have gotten a preview elsewhere.
