fuckindumass
I recommend ImgTool2.0, and since that is what I am most familiar with, here is a step by step. Open ImgTool and click 'file' then 'open' Navigate to the models folder in your GTA San Andreas folder Open 'gta3.img' file Hit F2 and type in part or all of the filename you want to replace and click on 'find next' If it takes you to the correct file, right click on the filename and select 'extract' and stash the original file in a folder in case you wish to put it back in later. If it goes to a similar name then hit F3 to continue searching. Now right click on the filename again and click on 'replace'. Once you have clicked on replace, navigate to your new file, and open it. ImgTool will show confirmation that the file has been replaced in the bottom left corner. I'll assume you got to the dff file first. To find the txd file, just use F3 again, and replace it the same way. It's OK to delete the file and use 'commands', then 'add' to get your new file in. Doing it that way will put your new files at the bottom of the list, making it real easy to scroll down to them in the future. Also under commands you will find 'rebuild archive' You don't have to use it each time, but you should use it once you have confirmed your new changes work OK. You may find when defragging the hdd that the gta3.img will not defrag unless you rebuild. Finally, it is a good idea to add just the dff first, then test the game. It wil probably show up mostly white since you haven't added the txd yet, but it will help you figure out which file is bad if your game won't load or crashes. Tim_uh60
Download SAMI from any gta website SAMI is alot easier than replacing file by file with the IMGTool and with sami you can replace any car with any car like if someone modded a car to replace the intruder with SAMI you can use the intruders files and replace lets say the blade unlike the IMGTool if you were to do that you would have to rename the intuders files name to blade. Get what I mean if don't just download SAMI and try it.
