Iminicus
Saturday night. Hamilton, New Zealand is a abuzz. The local international rugby team ( All Blacks ) are in town. The challengers.... Ireland. Here, hopefully, to avenage the f*ck up that was the Lion's Tour from '05. They wil take to the pitch, who will win? Who are the favorites? And is Graham Henry a tosser? All these will be answered at 7:00 pm NZ time. I got Ireland to win this. The problem the Blacks faces is the recent end to the inauguaral (sp) Super 14, which the Crusaders ( NZ team ) won. However, they haven't played any test matchs, warm- ups, or round robins this year. Though, they are not missing any key players, besides Tana Umaga ( he retired, but I am not sure whether he is playing ). Also, Henry is being damn crazy taking 39 guys. Is this a sign that he isn't confidant in the team. Anyway, I'll be there live. So, I'll try and post the final score asap. Specially for you in the Northen Hemisphere who will have to wait for a delay playing. For those in America who want to watch, check Fox Sports. They normally have rugby on. One last thing, when the All Blacks lose on Sat, I think it will show that they haven't changed their play style since the Lion's Tour. And that, World Cup '07 might not even reach their dreams. France for '07 Cup Victory.
Jay
Sif, NZ kick absolute ass in Union. League however. Anyways, this possibly could be in the Aussie Sport Topic, considering it is a sport played by Australians. Meh. I saw Ireland play in the world cup match in Adelaide. They are a rugby machine. Tough competition.
Cuse510
Like I said in Z chat, I think this is going to be a great match. As for who I think will win, it's close, but I gotta say Ireland. Probably because I'm biased since I've follwed them a lot more than NZ and have actually been to one of their games. If O'Driscoll and O'Gara play well and the pack does not get killed, Ireland ftw. Iminicus
f*cking bollocks man. Ireland were such a letdown in the second half. I can't believe they let the All Blacks through. Man, great game though. That All Black try in the first 30 seconds was nice. Well, I got over the lose and kicked out of a club for throwing up on one of their fine leather seats. But that is a story for Z chat. Side Note: Beer at rugby games = the lose. 4 375 ml bottles for $21 NZD or 1 375 ml bottle for $4.50 NZD.
neitherine
What a great match! To be honest i thought new zealand would have it in the bag after that great first try from good ol' Doug Howlett, then Ireland came back in the middle, then the AB's came back. My favorite part of the match was where ma'a Nonu bowled right through the small, bald player (sorry i don't remember his name) on the irish squad and sent him flying back a few metres I was riveted to my TV for the entire match

He's a feisty little guy Yeah, it was a good match overall. I was a little dissapointed that Ireland couldn't hold on, but I thought they played pretty well, especially D'Arcy IMO. Too bad Paul O'Connell seemed to think that the ball was a hot potato whenever he had a chance to catch it...
Iminicus
That O'Driscoll try was something sweet. And the way Ireland held onto the lead for 3/4 of the game. They really only lost it during the last 15 mins.
