Jack Thompson has resurfaced again and this time he is directing investigators in a Louisiana murder case to investigate the angle that suspects may have been motivated by video games to murder. The crime took place in West Feliciana Parish, an unincorporated part of central Louisiana. Two teens were arrested for first-degree murder and armed robbery of 55-year-old Michael Gore on Wednesday. Thompson stepped in when he heard the reports describing the nature of Gore’s wounds. "Nobody shoots anybody in the face unless you’re a hit man or a video gamer," Thompson commented to The Advocate. Thompson also related the crime to Grand Theft Auto since the sixteen year-old suspect confessed to the police that they killed the man because he wouldn’t let them borrow his car, "the same scenario in Grand Theft Auto." "I think [the murder] goes beyond video games, but who’s to say?," Captain Spence Dilworth, an official involved in the investigation told The Advocate. Nonetheless, police did search the teen’s home and seized several M rated games. Both teenaged suspects will be tried as adults in court. They killed him cause he wouldnt let them borrow his car... and jack blames that to GTA. The dude is an crazy idiot. How does that relate to GTA. The carjacking probably, but not just GTA, other stuff too and plenty of it. Besides, that is likely in real life too. That's like saying anyone who makes a slap shot in hockey is either a pro or plays hockey video games. But what else can you expect from Jacko? His cases are growing increasingly absurd. The same scenario can also be experienced in BF2, the same scenario can also be experienced in Driv3r, True Crime. Oh and in GTA when you actually jack someone out of a car, the player just sits inside and drives away. So yeah, Jack just doesn't like GTA. Here's what we should do with good 'ol Whacko Jacko: -Commit him to a mental hospital -Pay off the orderlies to kick his ass every now and then -Pay off one of the orderlies to abuse him...you know what I mean. -Tell him he can leave if he gets 100% completion for GTA 3, VC, and SA. -When he does, laugh in his face Lloyd Christmas style, and tell him that you can't let him out, as he's a murderer now. -If he hasn't totally lost it yet, slug him right in the gut. The difference is, Hitman actually DOES contain graphic violence so it makes it an instant target, The Sims 2 is a f*cking life simulator and contains nothing that could really offend. Thats why it was funny when he targeted the Sims 2, if he targets Hitman it's not going to be funny because it does contain graphic violence. Samples from the video game “Grand Theft Auto” showed characters beating, stomping and shooting police officers, attacking one with a chainsaw and then using it on a woman who tried to aid the officer. Another had sounds of sexual activity coming from a rocking vehicle and after a cursing man threw a scantily dressed woman out of the vehicle; he pursued her across a parking lot and beat and stomped her. “There are a lot of other scenes in the video we chose not to show in public,” Burrell told the committee. One scene awarded the player points for raping a woman. What bullsh*t. I wish they would just stop blaming GTA for everything bad that happens in the US.
