I recently re-installed SA and it runs fine except that I have to have the graphics settings to low or the frame rate almost freezes and in big shoot outs it can get quite sluggish. When I had it installed before I never had these problems and was able to have the graphics settings to very high. It was on drive C and now its installed on drive D. Could this be a reason? Star-Lord Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 This can be do to any amount of reasons. But if you have two hardrives that could be it depending on the speed of the drive(s) Ej. One can be slower in retreiving data from the other. Because both drives are trying to run at the same time or have different bus speeds which will slow everything down. Did you install DirectX 9c? . Set your Drive's on DMA also defrag both. Or you can remove the entire Rockstar Folder to Drive C: Which is where it should be and reboot.
