GrandMaster Smith
I made a skate video today, and I wanted to upload what I have done so far so I can show my friend. The thing is that when I upload it, it says that its the wrong format. Also when I goto "Save As", it only has one choice for format, which is something like WMMM(for like windows movie maker). Any help on how to do this right? Thanks in advance.
Jordan
You have a WMV file which is Windows Media Video. I suggest Avid Free DV to re-capture your video. http://www.avid.com/freedv (best free video editor hands down) Then, compress it in File --> Export. I've used Avid Adrenaline, Avid Xpress Pro HD and other versions, so let me know if you need help. OR... Upload the file to http://www.youtube.com You have to make an account, but it is very easy. Jordan
nope, MSWMM. thats what its called. i just looked. How did you get the file on your computer? Copied from a memory card? Digitized from a camera? Edit: Sorry, I have to go. By the way, you posted this in the wrong forum Edited June 7, 2006 by Jordan
GrandMaster Smith
I streamed it off my video camera using windows movie maker. the original one that i first put on here works, its just that the one Ive edited is a different format.

Fozzy Fozborne
You now have the movie on you computer from your camcorder/digital camera in Windows Movie Maker. Whenever you save it, don't click on save project, but on save movie file. If that is gray, then move the parts of the movie to the timeline at the bottom by click-and-drag. After that it should work. Incorrect Correct
