Lag while playing on Lan

Hey

 

I am playing GTA2 with some friends atm over wireless lan at a friends place, but we have major lag when we play lan with eachother.

We have tried both IPX and TCP/IP, but they both lag bad. Anyone god some good toturials or tips about what to set up?
