JohnnyVercettiVice Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Zero's mission on the second island where you have to shoot all of the planes from the sky is near impossible for me!! the best i can do is to have 50seconds remaining before the last transmitter is destroyed!! has anyone got any advice for me? all help will be greatly appreciated! also after completing wuzzi's missions and Zeros how much more is left to do on the island? cheers! CCPD Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 (edited) I would recommend for you to read the info below from GTA-SanAndreas.com. Advice would be to only shoot when you're going to hit a plane, shooting constantly will make your accuracy suck. Try to take down the first five to ten planes without them dropping a bomb. If you have a good start you should be able to hang on long enough for the timer to run out and pass the mission. Use your radar to see where the next lot of planes are coming from. Always go for groups of planes, as opposed to the one plane flying over. Groups of planes will come from your left, so be prepared to take them out, but you'll also need to look behind you to the right and take out any planes heading that way. It'll get pretty mad in the middle section with about 20 planes all dropping bombs, but if you held on well at the start, they'll only take out one transmitter and you should just be able to hold on with the last one until the time runs out. I don't know which missions you already did, but in San Fierro you need to do missions for Carl Johnson, Zero, The Triads, Jizzy, Frank Tenpenny, Wu Zi Mu and Cesar Vialpando. But a way i found that helped me out alot in this mission is by using the radar, and checkin what direction the red Blips are coming from and also trying to shoot down the planes which appear to be closest on the radar. crazyanurag Posted June 7, 2006 Share Posted June 7, 2006 Thanks. but im playing on ps2 not pc oh, sorry...didn't know that...one bit of help i could give you is that each plane drops a single bomb, and once the bomb is dropped, they're useless, so try to take out the bombs then, and not the just the planes...plus, it is better to concentrate on a single transmitter, preferably, the one behind CJ and Zero, and defend that, instead of dispersedly trying to defend all four...one thing's for sure, though...this one's a lot harder on PS2 than on the PC...all the best... I usually hit the planes that are in large groups and then leave the single ones alone. If you think this mission is hard you'll love his next mission. Damn!!! sorry!!! i forgot that the timer endin means u complete the mission..... i was think about a timer more like in the case of the mission "explosive situation" yeah,crazyanurag's suggestion could work.
