Almost all main.scm mods require a new game, but changes to carcols, handling.cfg, vehicles.ide, .img files, they don't have any effect on gamesaves. I am unaware of any program that 'fixes' main.scm changes that affect gamesaves. Sure would be nice if someone could pull that off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The only modifications that require you to start a new game is main.scm modifications. There is no way to stop this, unless the author releases a Deeppact that Dem made, it means some modifications can be used with previous saved games.
