I thought that first Spider-Man movie was not too bad, I liked it. I didn’t see Spider-Man 2, so I can’t say much about that on, but what do you think about upcoming Spider-Man 3? Here have a peek Plot: Third film in the highly successful "Spider-Man" series sees several new villains and a new woman enter Peter Parker's life. With his secret now revealed to both Mary Jane and Harry, Peter must face the consequences of his actions and his new life together with Mary Jane as they finally form a relationship. Yet their newfound open display of love has yielded some unfortunate results, not the least of which is Peter's upset boss determined to make his life hell for causing his son emotional distress. Not helping is a young investigative reporter named Eddie Brock who Jameson has hired to find out why Mary Jane dumped his son for Peter - what's Parker's secrets? At the same time an escaped prisoner hiding out on a remote beach is caught in a dreadful accident and finds himself turned into a shape-shifting sand creature. Peter's investigations into the past of this 'Sandman' brings him in contact with two very different things that will inevitably alter his life. The first a young woman named Gwen Stacy, daughter of the city's new police chief who is developing a soft spot for Peter. The other, a black substance from an accident scene which 'merges' with Peter's costume and gives him new found abilities. Things come to a head however when Harry Osborn, determined to take revenge against Peter for his father's death and now equipped with what he needs to pull it off, teams with The Sandman in a new variation of his father's Green Goblin guise and causes mayhem. In the ensuing chaos lives are lost, including people very close to Peter, whilst the black substance covering his suit separates from him and merges with a distraught Brock to form something else entirely - a creature unlike anything he's ever faced. The Spider-Man movies are my favourite films, so of course I'm really looking forward to this, it's stil a year away and I'm really excited. The same team is behind it, unlike most movies which all are let down by the cursed number 3. Sandman is gonna bring some awesome visuals to the table, the drama with Harry will finally be resolved, mother f*cking Venom! this film's gonna have it all. That's why I love the Spider-Man movies, unlike other comic book films it has a great balance of drama, romance, action, comedy and even horror at times (like the scene is 2 where Doc Ock wakes up on the operating table). With Venom there should be a scary factor to the movie, especially if he goes all stalker mode. It's rumoured though that Venom might only turn up towards the end, setting him up for Spidey 4. I f*cking love that poster too. These f*cking 'emo' remarks, I really hate that word you know.. but Spider-Man has always been a pretty emotional or 'emo' story. The Spiderman film rocked, they all all the elements of a classic action film and I wouldn't think twice about them not doing well, they are already based on a superb storyline. As for the poster, the Venom Saga.. guess.. is my favourite, and I think it looks great - very much like that of a superhero comic cover. There's been loads of pics flying about showing Peter wearing the symbiote suit, basically it's just a recolored version of the past two movies suits. Which is unbelievable. The symbiote suit is plain black/dark navy blue and has a huge spider on it spanning across Peters chest and back. This is one movie I can not wait for. Just speculation really, I aint gonna buy into any of it yet. Oh and I know it's nothing major, but the Spider on the front of the back suit is different to that of the ole red and blues. When spiderman goes all symbonyte he get's more powerful but becomes a different person. For one the discussion was Spider-Man 3 and not the previous movies, secondly to come in a topic and say that something's crap, without giving reasons whatsoever to why you think that is borderline trolling. @RobUK: Sorry but the plot you brought up is quite abit wrong. Yeah, I know the story. That's the main reason why I think it's lame. It's not a very creative costume, not that the one in the comic was too creative. Thing is in the comics it was an entirely new costume created after the previous one was destroyed, so the drastic change makes sense. I don't know what's gonna happen with the suit in this one, or how it will get on him, but say he was drenched in some black liquid, if the suit changed completley straight away he's gonna think "okay, this aint right" rather than the gradual realisation once the suit starts reacting to Pete's surroundings and influencing his mind. I also hope for this to a lot more jumping about and swinging from huge towers, I missed that in Spidey 2, although the scenes where he did jump about were spectacular (train scene especially), it was mostly about Mary Jane and his relationship, don't get me wrong, I like that, but I really want to see some cool combat scenes. They coulda had somebody else play Eddie though, since he was kind of a big guy that would remind you of a high school football jock bully, and his personality was always kinda meat headish. You guys remember a show in the 90's called Wings? The guy that plays sandman was the goofy airplane mechanic on that show.
