Zeluran Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Okay, there seems to be some odd thing with my game, it puts the saved files into my documents and Ive descovered that the game doesn't launch unless they are removed from this location. WTH? Anywho could you please locate the file "GTA San Andreas User Files" on your comp and tell me where it is so I can manualy move it to that location on my comp and hopefuly it will fix what ever problem this is. Or if you happen to know a way to make it put the saves in the right place or get the game to look in my documents, that would also work. THANK YOU. crazyanurag Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 in my PC, they are in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator(i.e. your name)\My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files that's where the game is designed to read your save files from as well... My game does not run unless I delete or move that file and when I do it means I can not load them in the game. In essence I have to restart the game. I have reinstalled it twice already. Which means I have to start again. What the f*ck is going on? Isn't this suposed to be one of the most played games on the planet? Why the hell won't this game work? Why has this problem not been fixed? I payed for this game and I expect to be able to load my saves ffs. Not wanting to sound like a moaning bitch but this is unfair. Can I please get a solution which lasts? I did all that stuff with the hex editor but it's not loading anymore again. I need a solution or a PATCH! EDIT: Thinking about sending this game back to the store which will be a shame because I have never had to do that with a game before. I don't know how this works but they should give me my money back because this is like selling an umbrella with holes in it. I went to a section of my GetForce 6600 graphic program and disabled the DESKTOP MANAGEMENT section. Since then the game has started OK. My PC: - CPU: Pentium 4 CPU 1.80GHz - Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 - Platform: XP Professional, SP1 - RAM: 512 RAM PS ...
