GTA_Loco
Congratulations for having a cool hippy van Perhaps PD Escobar can make you happier in having a better version of that if you read here: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...9&hl=mothership

Jake
I dont usually do that to get vehicles, but I might do it to get the hippy van because its pretty cool, the perfect ride for SF especially.

Timpo
when you have the PC version, you can download a garage editor, put in a car (lowrider, streetracer) with a paintjob, and it will come out as Mothership too.
[email protected]$+3R
ya i am new, but i just love that hippy van but the thing is, after a little while when i put it in my san ferrio garage, the cool paintjob went away and i didnt know how to make the paint job come bak. ill probably just buy the PC version and download the mod one of you guys just told me about. I think that R* should make it so that you can make cirtain vehilce lie a model that you can actually put in your hands. i wuz thinking that we could all sign something so that could happen? If you think this is a gay idea, then juss tell me. i really like cookies.
FelipeVinhao
when you have the PC version, you can download a garage editor, put in a car (lowrider, streetracer) with a paintjob, and it will come out as Mothership too. Which garage editor? I downloaded one once cuza the Truth's hippie Camper, but the only cars it mods are the modable ones. Vehicles like the Camper (that are unmodable in game) it can't. Btw, I also have the hippie Camper, in Hashbury garage. I had to fail that mission to get it. Then I discovered there was one in ona the last missions. Well, at least it's there now. > http://www.ericr33914.com/upload/users/Fel...nhao/gtasasf8.b <
Timpo
well, for example, if you want a wheel arch angels spoiler on you blista compact, you take a streetracer, mod it with that spoiler and any wheels or stuff, drive it into the garage, change the streetracer to a blista compact, and you have a Blista Compact with streetracer spoiler. voila. you need to mod more than one item, because when you only buy the spoiler and change the car it will be a normal spoiler. same goes for the Camper, the mothership is basically a Camper with a paintjob, so mod a streetracer or lowrider with a paintjob, park it in the garage, change it to a Camper, and you got a mothership. but for the spoilers and stuff; if a car can't take a spoiler in Trans Fender (like a turismo or something) the game will crash when you try adding one. and sometimes garages tend to eat paintjobs. FelipeVinhao
Yeah, now I remember ... I did this once accidentally with the FBI Rancher. The garage added a customized front bumper to it, but it wasn't placed properly. When I started driving it, after a while, the game crashed. Edit - Btw, can you choose any of the 3 paintjobs from the other vehicles to make the Camper look hippie?
Timpo
Edit - Btw, can you choose any of the 3 paintjobs from the other vehicles to make the Camper look hippie? I think so. and if you can do it, and want to make it really easy and have the PC version, go to the vehicles.IDE, and change the modding flag from -1 to 0. (-1= unmoddable, 0= Transfender moddable) just look where some TF moddable cars have a 0 and the Camper a -1, change that to 0, save the file, go to carmods.dat, and add a carmods line with "camper, nto_b_l, nto_b_s, nto_b_tw, exh_b_l, exh_b_m, exh_b_t" then you can mod the camper in TF, and just buy the paintjob. this trick can be done for almost any vehicle you want to have moddable, except police cars and such. when adding a carmods line, note that "nto_b_l, nto_b_s, nto_b_tw" can be added to any car, it's color and such, and "exh_b_l, exh_b_m, exh_b_t" is stuff like exhausts. if you put mods in the line a car can't have, the game will crash.
