Random Crashing

Hi,

 

 

I just got the game and it keeps crashing on me randomly and rebooting my computer. I have a 2.26 Ghz w/ 512 mg ram and a 128 mg geforce 5500 video card. I don't have any mods. I tried installing nvidia's most recent drivers but they didn't help. I don't know what's wrong with it. every now and then it flashes a blue screen with writing, but it goes by so quickly i can't see it.

I suggest you delete the SET file (again, see the pinned topics for information on how to do so), re-install, and change to Windows 98 compatibility mode.

Ok I tried deleting the set file and just about every option available in the compatibility options but it still crashes after about 5 - 10 min of playing. XP complains about recovering from a serious error and sends it error report to microsoft and it tells me this

I tried 3 different sets of nvidia drivers, the newest and the previous 2

 

I don't know what os wrong with it

mine does that too, and its modded, just play for a while, get what you have to get done, then close out, and re start it, i know its time consuming, but at least you can play it
