CarlJohnsonOG
Now that GTAIII, Vice City, and SA have obsessed me, I am thinking of running through the series from scratch just following the story missions, then again with 100% completion of each as the goal. I am a competionist freak. How long do you think GTA1 will take?
Faze
It could possibly take about a couple hours to complete the game. I completed the game, but I havent clocked it.
gta player06
Yeah it will take a few hours to complete the game. The game is pretty easy but you can`t save frequently so it can be frustrating.
palaric8
WELL I BEAT THE GAME WITHOUT PASSING ANY MISION, I SELL CARS AT THE DOCKS...AND IT TOOK ME 10 HOURS
Sektor
It would be a seriously hard challenge to finish every mission because if you fail one then you can't retry it without restarting the level. I have finished all missions on Liberty City part 1 and found the secrets without dying but it gets much harder after that. VforV
I once started playing Chapter 1 of Liberty City and that took a time! After an hour, you begin to feel boring and frustrated because you can't save. LC is the most boring towns of the three (in GTA1, not in III and LCS). If you want to complete all the phone missions, hidden missions, kill frenzies... good luck!
Gta_Masta_2006
I havent played gta 1 in a while but i know it took me a few hours to beat it too.

Unfortunately you can pass a level in GTA1 without actually doing a mission. I found this out when playing San Andreas "Tequila Slammer". All you got to do is reach the certain point quota, by any means necessary. That's pretty basic right there.
rustiksv
It took me 7 hours to complete the last chapter Rasta Blasta for the first time. The most important thing is not to loose your score multiplier! Never get caught by cops if you don't have a keycard! This way you will earn the necessary cash fast by completing missions starting from the easiest and making the most expensive ones when you have a solid multiplier. Helegad
I like to go around and collect the extra Multiplier Up! tokens around the map before doing missions. That way the first set, which is usually the easiest, will get you a very good ways towards your goal. Ivan1997GTA
