CCPD
I use Webroot Window Washer to clean my system and Registry Mechanic to repair my registry. There is only one problem, every time I run Webroot Window Washer it deletes some Registry Mechanic files and then when I try to run Registry Mechanic it shows the error message. How can I fix it? Thanks Edited June 5, 2006 by CCPD
Wolf68k
It's because Windows Washer is too strict in what it cleans. One of the reasons I don't use it. If Windows Washer has an ignore system/option in it, you can tell it what to ignore. If it doesn't, then just don't use it any more. Registry Mechanic is a damn good program. I use it followed by Norton's WinDoctor to clean and repair my registy.
CCPD
Guess what Webroot Window Cleaner actually had this option and the only thing I had to do is to unclick Registry Mechanic from the list. Problem solver! I have no idea why I didn’t just look in there myself. Thanks for your help wolf68k!
