Not sure if that was good to get some of the liquid that is on it into the speakers(as you call them vents)... I'm not sure what might've happend but you could try to send it to Sony or something, or clean the inside of it if you warrenty is out...

Ottae
you short circuited the screen congradulations and it's Congratulations. It won't just be the water in the wet wipes that has made it die, it's probably the soap in it as well. So you'll have to do something about it instead of waiting for it to evaporate because the soap is a bit denser.

That's why I told him to open it up and clean it with a cloath with no liquids if his Warrenty ran out...
Rayo Puño
Yeah, I'd say open it all up and clean it with a q-tip with nothing on it. Or send it to Sony if you still have a valid warranty before you do that, I'm sure opening it will void the warranty, knowing Sony PS products. cmgrff
thaks guys. you are probably wondering what the hell i was doing cleaning it. i also cleaned the soft case but running it under a tap to get the dust particles off. then i put the psp inside it thinking the inside was dry. the truth is, i have OCD and one of the things i get obsessed about is having the psp completely dust and smear free, which makes playing it a difficult sometimes. i guess i have to learn to control it better
rubba_dukie
Thats what happens when you try to clean a psp...it breaks. Stay away from the wipes that are really wet...im sure there are some ones you can get that wont screw the system up and still keep it clean. Not that I dont like the psp but now you should get a ds......do it! Muhahahah.....im sorry today is bringing out the evil in me
