Spenc938
If the windows games (solitaire, freecell, pinball, etc.) got deleted off my computer is there any way to get them back? I don't want to have to individually search for each on the internet either.
ms.cooldude
The only way to get those games back is by getting "Plus!" downloaded to your PC. This product costs to download and is made by "Microsoft" themself (Incase your curios). This update is only avalable for "Windows XP". The second way, is to use "System Restore" to go back to the point before you deleted the games.
Wolf68k
@ms.cooldude Whatever you're smoking.....STOP! @spenc938 Don't listen to ms.cooldude. YES! There is a way to get them back Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs Look on the left side for "Add/Remove Windows Components" and click it In the new window "Applications and Utilities" click on the Details button Look for "Games" click it. Click Details again you can pick and choose which games you want to bring back. The "Internet Games" you don't get to pick which ones to bring back, it's all or nothing with them. Now click OK until you're out and wait a few minutes. Enjoy the games that have been returned.
CCPD
Yep, just what I wanted to say wolf68k! I think that you might need to have the original Microsoft Windows CD to reinstall the games, but I am not sure about that!
Spenc938
Thanks for your help wolf, I was looking through windows components earlier, but didn't realize you had to uncheck box, click ok, then go through the whole thing again with the box checked. @ms.cooldude: according to my sister ( the only one who plays these) they have been gone for quite some time. I checked system restore long before the thought of making a topic on the forums even entered my mind, but I didn't have a restore point that old.
