quartet1977
sadly, i don't think so. i did the same thing once and had no luck getting the file back. however, save files for each storyline mission for versions 1 and 2 are a good option if you'd rather not start over. xucachris
Thanks - I've gone for the download file, but have lost so much - 100 tags, oysters, many jumps, etc. Oh well, will be more vigilant on future thanks again cb
quartet1977
i've gotten pretty careful myself. i keep backup folders for each storyline mission, as i pass each, i move the save file from my user files to the backups. where in the storyline were you? i usually do the tags early, and if you pm me, i'd be happy to send you a version 1 save file. if you are playing version two, check out the chain game over at mission help. it's just gotten started, but the tags are already done, as is a lot of other stuff. you can either play through with all of us or keep track of progress and grab the save file closest to where you left off when we get there. Born Acorn
I kept two Savegames at a time, and alternate saving between the two. This way, in case of accidental deletion, I didn't go back so far, unless I did lots of missions between saves.
