Bezman2 Posted June 2, 2006 Share Posted June 2, 2006 Hey, I haven't used cheats for the whole game and i have just done the mission "Verdant Medows", but I don't have nearly enough money to buy the air strip. I don't want to use cheats for the whole game but how do i get some money, i have done all the vallet missions and stuff like that and i still don't have enough. Please help me. quartet1977 Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 i find it easier to save at catalina's place in fern ridge and bet on the horses in montgomery rather than doing it in LS. it's a slightly shorter drive but the real time saver is that there's always a buffalo there when you restart the game. in jefferson, you have to jack a car. i like the vigilante idea, but only with the hunter or the rhino, and it's too early in Bezman2's game for either of those. The Rhino should actually be available if the airstrip can be purchased, but since Verdant Meadows is only like $80k, capping a few drug dealers and then spending the proceeds on the horse races would probably work just fine. Personally, I'd probably run the courier missions a couple times or maybe head over to Venturas (which is accessible) and hit the blackjack tables. Start exporting cars. There are a few that are right there near the docks (there's a stretch behind Wang Cars when it's up for export). You'll have your $80K in no time. Do 50 taxi mission on sequence, save it, do 12 vigilante missions, save it, do 12 paramedic missions, save it, do 12 firefighter missions, save it, put all ur money in a betting machine, if u win save it. If you just let CJ stand there for a while(I left him there overnight) you can make alot of money (I made 90,000) the only thing is, you will lose all of your muscle. It's the cheapest, most efficient way to earn quick loot in my opinion - and no matter how many times you lose, you're bound to win eventually which is why it's fullproof. Bet whatever you want on the TEAL HORSE, or better yet, the horse with a 12/1 winning ratio. (Same horse, didn't want to confuse there...) - Even if you lose 10 times in a row - winning just ONCE is whatever you bet x12, (which is pretty big bucks.) So, let's do some math. Say you bet $200 on the 12/1 horse and lost 6 times in a row. You would lose $1200... *BUT* - If you win on your 7th race, you'll pull in a whopping $2,400 which makes the $1,200 lost worth the chances you took. My CJ was sitting on close to $1,000,000 before I had even made it to San Fierro - so if you want some big money - hit the OTB. My problem now is constantly playing "Video Poker" at the Red Dragon's Casino lol. It's addicting, but I'm not a bad poker player so I always make out fairly decent. Kill people on Grove Street until you get 1 star then evade the star. Then kill people agian. Kill drug dealer to get the most money. 3. Actually, no it isn't. You can get the Hunter from the street races. If you've done the driving school, Jethro will give you a call about the street races, and this happens just before you have to buy the airstrip. You then go to the Air Races, select Heli Hell, fly to Las Venturas Airport and land near the race marker. Then get out of the helicopter, fail the race, exit from the race screen, take the helicopter and just go wild. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If not, there are some places you can buy for pretty cheap. Get your betting up to 1,000,000, then go play roulette and bet on 0. Once you've got all the horse shoes, chances of winning with 0 become about 1-10 to 1-15. If you lose big, you can always just reload and try again. 1 mil translates into 36 mil. Now I'm set money wise In-Track Betting in Los Santos(under the mullholland intersection. the bottom part of the "diamond" if your lookin at the map) or Montgomery (thats all right?). I started a new game a few days ago. I took my 3000+ bet it on the long shot and turned it into 30000+ on the first try!!! then i saved my game, waited, went back, won again. BANG 300000+... right now i currently have 5 million+ and I've only just made it to San Fierro. the BEST way to make money in SanAn by far. always bet on the long shot. by the nearby safe house and your set!
