Big secret? There's definately no bigfoot or zombies, but there is a ghost car in the country, and in the bar in the desert there is a wall with loads of pics of UFO's and stuff on it (but no actual aliens).

Big secret? No.

Secret? Yeah. Check this interview out from tips and cheats magazine:

I remember reading that interview on Gamespot or something during Summer '05. Wonder what it could be?

I know it's definitely not a creature, or some other NPC model... maybe there is something out at sea? A creature that is generated at random perhaps?

Sounds impossible though...coders would have found something in the script by now. A hidden game mode(not Hot Coffee)? Who knows, coders are still finding hidden features in N64 games that were released in the 90's. I'll tell you guys one thing, there are no hidden creatures roaming the SA map.

But still, it's great to have that sense of mystery about the secrets of SA...intact.

Thanks for the image jrt, word of mouth gets people believing in far too much. It even had me fooled until I seen this image, everyone says that there is a big secret which as shown is false.

Hell No..: I personally think you'll be wasting your time to find anything very large, the game has been ripped to pieces by the greatest PC modders and I all the things they found special have been released to public. And yes, I strongly think a years research into the PC version of the game shows that there is nothing else worth noting (that is intentional).

Well I own the ps2 version of the game, looking for the PC version but still havnt got it... anyways when I was searching the big sea, all i found that after 8hour of flying in open sea's heading north, all you get is tons of boats that spawn all over the water, trust me I think all the secrets been found, if not then good luck...I wasted 8HOURS of my life looking for something, and found notta dang thing...Oh well maybe you will good luck!

You explored the sea....for 8 hours? Are you sure it wasn't dimentia setting in, and not really boats spawning on the ocean?

Anyways, I remember seeing this vid of SF. It was night, and under Gant Bridge, Jizzy's Palace. All of a sudden, this haunting sound

shot through the air, like a huge fog horn, something off of a ship. But there are only 2 boats docked in the SF Bay, and none of them would

be making that noise...I will make a vid of this myself. That could be it, or it's just a creepy side effect. Trust me, when you see that fog, and you hear this noise,

apparently coming from nowhere, you will probably get a tad scared...or not.

Well, here's a secret about GTAF.

If you search, you'll find a bajillion topics just like this. There is no Bigfoot in San Andreas. There are no UFOs in San Andreas. There are no aliens in San Andreas. There is no Leatherface in San Andreas. There is no sea monster in San Andreas.

If you believe that there is, you have been duped by a mod screenshot, and are gullible.

The "big secret" is most likely the Ganton Gym glitch that allows us to explore the hidden interiors, or it may have been "Hot Coffee."

Or, Rockstar could have been bluffing the whole time. Yes, video game companies do that sometimes.

Umm, who exactly is saying that bigfoot is in San Andreas? This thread is about that interview, not about "secrets" in SA, rather one secret.

The employee interviewed obviously didnt mean the gym glitch. That's been known since the PS2 release. Maybe you should do some searching yourself?

Maybe it's Hot Coffee, who knows. Don't try and make it seem as if this is the 1000th thread on bigfoot. It's not.

There is no bigfoot.

No creatures.

No UFO's.

No ghosts.

So what was the employee talking about? That's what we're discussing, maybe if you used your brain, you'd see that.

Anyways, what do guys think of the vid?

Yes im sure they were boats, I was flying really close towards the water I could see it all, didnt take no breaks at all and kept flying north for 8hours and out of no were tons of boats spawn, and its a clutter and looks like u couldnt get out of it..I got tired after 8hours so I just turned it off, I had my webcam recording it so if I can find that then ill upload it, of course the video might be sucky since it was a PS2..When I get my PC version ill do the same and see what happens

Dude that's bullsh*t, I won't believe that until you find a way for others to be able to do it. Because that sound sounds like an overlay, it's alot louder and clearer than any other noises confused.gif.

Also I see nowhere saying 'big secret' in that article. I won't go as far to say that all secrets are found, but there's nothing big.

What's with you dude? This is not bullsh*t. I never post fake stuff like this, never. It's pretty simple to do. If you have SA PC, just go to San Fierro, and go to Jizzy's. You should hear the sound. In my experience, it's only happened at night. I might still have the save file that the creator of that vid uploaded, in which you spawn in SF at nighttime.

Trust me, this isn't BS. Like I said, I don't spam with crap like that.

EDIT: I dont have the save file anymore, but trust me, this is in the game. Go to Jizzy's, you'll hear it. I don't fool around when it comes to stuff like this.

The video is legit. I hear the foghorn all the time on the xbox version and if you're in the right spot, it can be pretty loud. I can even tell you exactly where in the SFX archives that sound exists on the PC version (GENRL archive, Bank 68, Sounds 13 & 14) although going to the bay area when it's foggy should be enough to trigger it in-game. I always considered it more of a good bit of detail than any kind of secret, but I am pretty jaded about these things.

Yeah, I think that quote has been blown out of all reasonable proportion; given the way magazines are dated, that interview would have occurred in March or April of 2005 to be in the "May" issue, which was before the PC version even came out and he could very well have been talking about Hot Coffee or even something which we now consider fairly minor and old.

I remember that interview being posted on planetgta.com during late Spring or

early Summer '05. It is quite weird, though, and that foghorn sounds a bit strange. Why would docked ships with no crew/passengers make that sound? And how come it almost always happens during foggy nights AFAIK?

A detailed background noise...in the E3 2005 SA PC/XB Trailer, there were tram

and train sound effects not heard in the PS2 game. These are not in SA PC, so if they wouldn't go as far as to insert these new sound effects, then why a foghorn?

It could be Hot Coffee sure, but then again, it could be something else.

I think I've heard the foghorn during "Amphibious Assault" (during which it is always foggy and dark).

Just another Frisco wharves touch, nothing more, nothing less.

Really? I thought it was clear (but dark)... Maybe that was the refugee mission I am thinking about ('The Da Nang Thang', I believe).

That foghorn video was creepy. nervous.gif

Ah, then I owe my apoligies to you TheDude5000. I've never heard it before, I'll keep a look listen out for it when San Fierro is foggy at night.

That's a nice find, I thought it was too cool to be true tounge.gif.

Actually, that vid is from the SA PC version. And it's just not a foghorn, it must have some meaning. Like I said before, why would they bother to put this sound effect in the game, yet not put sound effects in the game that they actually had in the trailer? All the cargo ships in SA are stationary, they can't move. The trains and trams, obviously move, yet they didn't take the time to give those sfx. Why would they create a sound for something that doesn't exist?

And you can hear it pretty good, so they can't get away with some sort of "it's out at sea" excuse.

Yeah I agree with that! Why would they put it in there? Has to be a reason...

Also I think he means that there has to be something behind it thats why its not just a foghorn
