LordQuas431
So I recently picked a new HDTV that I decided also to use as my pc monitor because It's great that it had the ability to be a pc monitor as well. And well now I can not load SA, I tried changing the refresh rate to 60, but it didn't help. First it was saying that it couldn't be loaded because it couldn't find gta_sa.exe (even from the actual game folder) Then it said that it couldn't find the 800x600x32 and now it just says that gta_sa.exe has ran into an error, and I can't figure out what to change in order to get it to work with my new monitor. I'll post my specs if necessary but it was working fine before my new monitor so I don't think it's necessary.

LordQuas431
Just tried after you recommended that, no dice Oh and also, I treed updating to version 1.01 because I read that it had added HDTV support, but since I got my version 1.0 off eBay I got a pirated copy and it said that gta_sa.exe doesn't match so it can't install! GTA3Freak-2001
You need to delete your gta_sa.set file which is in your C:/My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files folder. Whenever you make hardware changes on your PC you need to delete the settings file which resets it supporting your new monitor.

Plaka
Un-install the Game - restart - re-install ... the game should then recognise the new hardware
