Jordan
http://today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle....ER-MOORE-DC.XML Note: The money, if received, will all go to veteran's groups. I'm not inserting any opinion into this matter, but I want you all to. Go.
Otter
Release forms are a bitch. 'nuff said. Edit, so as not to seem spammy: Moore covers his ass. He'll have the proper documentations, and the case will go nowhere. Moore'll end up donating a sh*t load of money anyhow, but nobody'll make a news story about that. Kippers
Moore getting sued was bound to happen eventually...Can't really think of anything else to say. 習うより慣れろ
millermagic
Glad it finally happened. I just love how he played with what everyone said in that Farenheit 911 movie to make Bush seem like a bad guy.
Luke
Can't say it wasn't going to happen eventually, Moore likes to twist the truth - but that said, someone needs to be there to piss on Bush. Bush is a bad guy, whether the content of the film was right or not - take some of his latest actions for example. Not to mention the film was still entertaining, even if partially untrue. adam broke it.
StaticBeing
Bush is a bad guy Using personal opinions to prove a point, are not generally accepted as fodder for the said point. With that said, Moore deserves it, I think Matt Stone and Trey Parker portrayed Mr. Moore perfectly in Team America. As a fat, slobbish, bastard. Saggy
Good, he's been misrepresenting and misusing people for his own gains for quite some time now. He manipulates the truth to send the message he wants in so many ways, that it's really quit disgusting in a lot of the cases. However, the sad truth is that too many people support Moore for this to really go trhough. I wouldn't doubt that it will end in settlement. And in any event, I can see this is going to turn into an argument about Bush, so I'll just take my leave now. Forelli_Boy
Parker and Stone's portrayal of Moore came as a response to their interview (taken, as usual, out of context) by Moore in Bowling for Columbine and its subsequent SP-style cartoon with the NRA and the KKK. I do also remember reading that Damon also appeared at an anti-war speech delivered by Sen. Ted Kennedy though... but that was before Fahrenheit 9/11 was released. darthYENIK
I hate Micheal Moore. All he does is point and blame, and then make millions off of it. I think it's about time he paid something.

Bigs
I'm not a huge Michael Moore fan. I like his films because they are interesting, but in the end they just seem like a bunch of false propanganda on a lot of levels. Another story about this is here. One of the two marines recruiting in the documentary was killed in Iraq.
Tom Toole
As to the sad state of the American Legal system, legalese, the lack of respect for truth, leftist bastards, confused and confusing works of art and documentation, and so on: I have a some words. The words I have are not many or few, but rather in between the two. It does seem to me that Micheal Moore is guilty of many things. It does seem to me that much of what Micheal Moore is guilty of is not illegal. It does seem to me that between the illegal and the immoral there is as much as between what is right and what is tolerated. It does seem to me that nothing is decided by the courts, and that if one runs away one does not admit guilt, and many more things beside.
