Splinter Cell is more of a stealth game, and Metal Gear is a head on combat, though you can use stealth. A much better one would be Agent 47 vs Sam Fisher. Which still isn't a good comparison because 47 can take anybody... He's the clone. With strength greater than any mans. No wonder he can knock somebody out with 2 punches. Omg.. how many times do we need to explain this Naked snake is soild snake with a new codename He doesnt get named big boss UNTILL he defeats the boss And yes.. a better match is sam and agent 47 For my opinion.. solid snake wins.. he was a good hero when i was a kid playing my mgs1. As for he beats twice the ammount of enemies and has taken down huge metal gears which are sure to cause world destruction Hes kick a$$, he knows CQC and he knows the only thing sam does, stealth I already know snake could pawn agent 47 and sam, but who would win is it was sam vs agent 47? Wait.. did you just say agent 47 can take anybody!!! I havent seen agent 47 do a damn thing without his guns or a choke wire? please... Solid Snake is in MGS 1 and 2 which is set around the years 2000-2006 Naked Snake is in MGS 3 which is set in the 1960's If they are the same people, then somehow he hasn't aged in 40 years. Sam And about snake being naked snake, your only judging that by a date. He looks the same, acts the same, has the same actor, and has that same hardcore attiture throught every game. Soild Snake was missing as eye because he kicked the gun to save eva's life As for any other arguements, Snake pawns all EDIT: They are not clones.. didnt you get the plot of MGS2?? There is a reason its called MGSoild 3 He is in the 3rd one, you just didnt understand the plot. And i dont want to go into depth But.. So heres how it goes.. 1 more time Snake is his name.. or reffered to as 'John" NAKED SNAKE WAS NEVER HIS NAME. It was just a cover up.. for "Snake" Snake gave his DNA to make better soilders.. the gov made three soidlers 1 Solid Snake 2 Liquid Snake 3 Solidus Snake Of course.. you know that soild is good.. liquid is bad.. and soilidus was neutral untill MGS2 when he fought raiden. Btw.. i think raiden is gay.. why was he ever put in MGS2?? Anways.. Big Boss challened his "Son" at the end of MGS and he lost.. knowing he would?? But did he die..?? Everyone thinks big boss " The real Snake" was evil.. but he was not.. He was in a group called "Fox" but after "Fox" was disbanned he lead a new group called "Foxhound" that was no longer Pawns of the filthy patriots. They were considred bad because they didnt follow the regulations as "Fox" and the government would have Personally after veiwing all of the info.. i like Snake much more than i would like Solid Snake.. In MGS3, you play as Big Boss, I know it's established but I wanted to get it off my chest. Also, someone said you killed Big Boss in MGS2. The big guy in that game, is Solidus Snake, the third known clone of Big Boss. The other two are Solid and Liquid, who dies in MGS. Another little spout on info. In MGS3 when you fight The Boss (Naked Snake's mentor (soon to be Big Boss (keeping up?))), you can catch three white rare snakes, not seen anywhere else in the game. They are "Solid", "Liquid", and "Solidus". Gasp! I really wanna see what Ocelot's true involvement in this game is. He can't be a clone, as he appears in MGS3. In a sense, Liquid is still alive, as he lives on in Ocelots arm. It's all strange.
