Sixdust Posted June 1, 2006 Share Posted June 1, 2006 I have been thinking about this for a while, so here goes, you know how under each member's posts, there is icons from whatever services they use, like aim and yahoo. My idea is to add like one or two more slots for info, like xfire username and maybe some sort of skype info? (Suggest some other things) Also, there is something I would like to see, which is the option to allow your karma log to be viewable in your profile, but only if you allow it. Also there are a few members on this site, that use the flags to show what nationality they are, rather than the country they live in. Wouldn't it be nice if you can choose a seperate flag for nationality and current place of living? (it wouldn't be shown in posts) Agian, just throwing around some minor ideas, that may help increase people's knowledge of you. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They're private (with exception to the GTAF administrators and moderators) and for good reason. However, people have posted screenshots of their karma logs in topics in General Chat. Justin Posted June 1, 2006 Share Posted June 1, 2006 Our profiles used to have a section for Skype. Evidently it's been removed, for whatever reason. Generally if you're at a stage where you'd find it comfortable to talk to someone over the internet through Skype, you'd be at a stage where you could ask them for their user name via PM, too. I understand that you're meaning the icons that accompany posts, but if the field was removed from profiles it probably won't be added again, and then to posts. The karma thing would be nice from my point of view, but apparently most of the logged warnings are negative, which would mean viewing them wouldn't really spark anything but a drama llama stampede. Flags idea is a bit iffy. As long as there's only one flag visible per post, I'm OK with it. Too much clutter will make me crazy. As for the flags, I meant that the nationality one would be in the profile area, and the flags being displayed at the moment would be what country you live in. Ex.I live in the USA, so I have an american flag, but my nationality is polish and I would like another flag elsewhere for that (the profile) no need to clutter up posts with two flags.
