Crokey
Could a Mod/Admin confirm if this would fall within the rules, if I was to put an advert in my sig for selling some old music magazines that I can't keep anymore would this be within or without the advertising rules as it's not advertising something that is in anyway a competition to the site/network.... or not as we have that little google ad at the top which might go against some sort of T&C's if I was to do so? Thank You GC
Jack_Knife
Sigs are exempt from the advertising rules, I believe. "You can play faster than Al Di Meola and do it with only one pinky, but if you're not listening to what is going on around you, you might as well just shut up" isn't your croth suppose to be erecting when you have an orgasm? Bryce.
I'm 90% sure it is ok. HereCheck it says it is ok, but I could be wrong. • No advertising (a link in your sig is fine, but posting a topic about your site or PM'ing members with links to your site is not). Referall links of any nature also fall under this category.
Raindancer
I dont see a problem with it. Would it be like 'FOR SALE mags and bits, PM for details?' I have no problems with that.
Crokey
Yeah it would be just an add for selling Magazines, its old back issues of NME, Melody Maker and Total Guitar, and after keeping an eye on ebay for some time they don't sell there, but I think the Total Guitar ones would probably interest people around here as there is plenty of budding Guitarists around here. I was just intersted, to see if it was OK which people seem to think its fine so I'll add it later on Thanks GC
