SWYV Posted May 31, 2006 Share Posted May 31, 2006 (edited) hello, i have still a big problem with my car mod my 3th vehicle: mobile home (from Sketchup) status = ingame in GTA SA!! but the problem with getting in the car! cant get in :s i have the col and dff but cant getting to into the vehicle :s who can help my? i made it with Sketchup and Zmod! Picolini Posted June 1, 2006 Share Posted June 1, 2006 (edited) Sounds like something is not in the right place in the hierarchy. Makesure that the ped_seat is linked under the vehicle name dummy (the the .dff dummy, the one under. If that is then put the door_lf and door_rf_dummy (with the doors link under their right side). EDIT: I just looked at the link you posted and it looks like you don't have any door dummys along with the doors. That'll definately mess you up, surprised it made it ingame with out them. Or those could be old pics, i can't understand what you saying over there. If that doesn't fix it, then maybe check the positioning of the ped_frontseat compared to the door dummys. And, as Gearstix said, comparing with an already made car, if you haven't would really help. You should probably do that from the start. I still mess up sometimes with getting the names exactly right. I like importing a car from the game and completely replace the original mesh parts, and move around/delete the dummies. pinky Posted June 1, 2006 Share Posted June 1, 2006 You need a door on the left for SA, there are other coach mods out there that you enter through sides. The collisions can be a problem because they don't let you near enough the door or ped seat. Adjust the ped seat offset in the handling file to allow for wider vehicles.
