TheGuyFromThere
The title pretty much explains it all.. just editing some photographs I took. Original Image (Photo taken by myself, Finepix S5000) It's a kind of strange addition, I guess, I'm not sure what I was going for.. but I may try and add something that adds a bit of realism (or even sense) to the scene. Some ideas would be welcome.. I'm thinking a pint glass or something. First time at composition, btw. All done in max. inactive
uNi
Hm the object should be bigger, and have less reflection on the table. Maybe using the photo as a reflecion map ?
TheGuyFromThere
Hmm i'll give it a try. I'm pretty sure I can do that on frGlass.. using Final Render stage 1. I'd use vRay but it doesn't work well for Dom, and instead renders nothing but black. EDIT: Added a little something I made a while back. It's an aftershave test bottle. Kaj.
Still looks out of place. Maybe try somewhere that isn't so intense (white). You'll have an easier time when you don't need to make it reflect all that "light".
Otter
The object needs to cast a shadow. I'd suggest taking another picture, with an object already there, so you get an idea of what it'll look like. Then try exporting the image with an alpha, and doing your final composition in photoshop. EDIT: You'll also want to keep scale in mind. Both objects are far too small in comparison to the beer bottle.
