Ok heres what ive done, im new to modding for gta 3, so downloaded the wheel mod thing, then downloaded a subaru impreza to replace the sentinal, i done everything right up to going into the Vehicles.col file, i open it with notepad and programs like that and it coming up gibberish font, cant read a single thing, can anyone help pls.

Ok, first things first - there's a modding section at GTAF. And this should be in the Troubleshooting part .

 

Also, you're going to need to be a bit more specific about your problems in future - "wheel thing" ? My advice is to be as specific as you can because then it's easier for people to work out exactly what's wrong, and therefore how to fix it .

 

To edit COL files, you need steve-m's Collision Editor 2 . It's pretty simple to replace COLs using CE2, so you shouldn't have any problems.

 

But if you do, head over to the modding section where people will be more able/likely to help you .
