Ben Posted May 30, 2006 Share Posted May 30, 2006 You don't need to know what version you have to apply a cheat if you're talking about PC (I'm assuming that you can tell the difference between PC, PS2 and X-Box !). You just type the relevant cheat in . But to answer your question anyway - you'll have the standard 1.0 EXE unless you've patched with 1.1, in which case you'll obviously have 1.1 . As far as I'm aware, there's four main 1.0 EXEs - the US, EU, Aust., and German. So you should be able to figure it out from there . Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Justin Posted May 30, 2006 Share Posted May 30, 2006 Can't you just type in the cheat regardless? If it crashes it's the wrong version, if it works it's the right... Different versions won't affect in-built cheats. It's when you start messing around with trainers/external applications that are built around a specific EXE that things can get messy. Can you tell by the barcode or something cause i would like a new one/replacement since mine is broken, and IF I do see one how can i tell the version?
