Jonna
I am wondering first off, how the hell do you LOCK ON? I've been searching the net for 2 days now and nothing. Also how do you make a hydraulic car bounce on it's side? You need to do it for one of the missions but it doesn't work.. I would greatly appriciate someones help with this, I hope it's not s stupid question but I've looked and I havn't found the answer myself -Jonna
CCPD
Check your Game Controls, everything will be explained there. Anyway, if by “Lock On” you mean aim the weapon then use your Right Mouse Button. If what you meant is how to lock the missiles in Hydra, then use Space or whatever button you use for Handbrake. For the lowrider use the NumLock keyboard numbers 8-front, 2-back, 4-left and 6-right or whatever buttons you use for Special Controls. quartet1977
nope, it's not a stupid question, although it is one that gets asked a lot. a quick search for Cesar Vialpando would have turned up an answer, such as this one from JAJ in mission help. but here's my answer: if by lock on you mean point or aim a gun, hold down the right mouse button. for the lowrider bounce, the keys on your number pad are defaults: 4=left 6=right 8=up 2=down diagonal bounces require combinations. for example, 4 and 8 together get you a diagonal bounce to the left and up. in your options menu, under vehicle controls, Special Control Up, Special Control Down, and etc. are where the key assignments for bouncing are set. good luck! EDIT: oops, i guess i'm just repeating the above from CCPD. must have been typing our answers at the same time. Jonna
Oki those seem to make sense, I guess I'll have to change the controls for the low ride to special key because my laptop doesn't have a numb pad and when I use the funtion keys to use the built-in num pad it doesn't work now again about the aiming, I know I can use the right mouse button to "manual aim", I was taking my words quite literally when I said "lock-on" - as the console versions of the game how you could both manually aim and also auto-lock-on to a target then easily switch to other targets. Now in the PC version in the control definition section there is an option for changing weapons/"TARGETS" so I assumed that the PC version would have this apbility? but I've seen NOTHING about it and it's a bit hard to use the mouse pad built-in to my Dell.. so... if there was any way I could make this possible it would be great, even a mod to the game if it's not included would be just perfect. I am rarely home and travel much so playing san andrea on my home pc or my xbox is almost a complete negative. I thank you for your patience and your very speedy reply!! ~Kudos to the guys at gtaforums!!

I thank you for your patience and your very speedy reply!! ~Kudos to the guys at gtaforums!! hey, i'm on a dell laptop, too, but i have a mouse for it, which makes it easy to play. i can't stick with the default keyboard settings (no number pad), so i assign my arrow keys for bouncing, dancing and flying. as for auto-targeting, i just googled this and found the solution here. what you do is go to your controller options and switch from keyboard and mouse to joypad. you are still able to use the keyboard. the mouse works for shooting but not for changing views. anyway, while in this mode, whatever keys you have assigned to 'next weapon/target' will auto-target for you, and get head shots each time. i just tested this to confirm and it does work. i like the auto-target function but i wouldn't want to give up the mouse controls. CCPD
I guess the Joypad Controls, which quartet1977 suggested would be the best option for you Jonna.
