It might never get made, its just an experiment really....but if it WOULD work, i will make it The general idea is the whole world in a map around 4 times the size of SA, MMORPG with organizations to join on the good or bad side of the law. Each continent is split up into territories which can be Invaded and taken control over by any organization. You will be able to declare war, spy on the enemy, plan sneaky attacks and even score global points by taking out a key shipment of drugs or arms or blowing up a military building. This is a map showing the territories http://imagepros.us/uploads/a64932f3fb.jpg And this one shows the cities that will be featured (obviously really downscaled) http://imagepros.us/uploads/466352c095.jpg Here is a list of the organisations and the continents where they are based: Defense Forces USA Central America Oceania South America Europe Africa Middle East Far East Russia Terrorist Groups Arctic Avengers (Russia) NeoCong Army (Far East) Al-Jihad Guerillas (Middle East) F-4 Commandos (Central America) Liberation Tigers (Africa) Pacific Pirates (Oceania) IRA (Europe) Phoenix Connection (USA) Armed Forces Of Columbia (South America) Bounty Hunter Sects Snow Leopards (Arctic) Black Plagues (Africa) Car Boosters LA Lowrider Kings (USA) Brooklyn OGs (USA) The Yakuza (Far East) Gangs Crips (USA) Vice Lords (USA) As a player gains experience they will rise up the ranks of their organization and then military hardware can be bought from hidden arms bizarres or government stockpiles so that you can go to war with another country or just run an extensive bombing campaign. There is alot more but thats the jist of it..... A true GTA MMORPG of the entire world where you can control a whole country, a gang of thugs, a group of car thieves or just yourself as a crazy psycho serial killer....... I want to know wether many of you would find interest in this as the whole game will have to rely on the actions of player characters, so if there isnt a constant flow of players then the world qould quite easily break into anarchy and the fabric of the game would be destroyed. KinkyJedi Posted May 29, 2006 Author Share Posted May 29, 2006 Yo, First off i would have to disagree about 5 years..... 2 maybe, this wouldnt take thaaaat long but it will be damn hard, the HDD thing is a point though.... although i would hope it would be worth 2 days of DLing if it had taken us 2 years to make it Main problem is still having enough players to hold the game together cus if there were no cops online for 1 day then the server would be so sided in favour of the gangs that it wouldnt be worth playing again... There will not be enough MMORPG interest to hold the game fabric together....... which is a shame, i may come back to it one day though....
