Suction Testicle Man
Because you have to replace the txd file too? Lay off the caps. If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.

jarjar
U THINK I DONT DO THAT TOO?! maybe somethings wrong with the whole gamne ,i downloaded it any ways but still i want normal mods!!!isnt there like an expert here or something??? STM is an expert. Hint, why he is part of the Modding Staff . Now can you tell us one of them mods your having problems with so we can try it? Because if your having problems, and your reading the readme correctly, then theres either a problem with the mod, or a problem with the software your using to install the mod. I have this problem sometimes if i install a mod and leave the old .dff or old .txd there and forget to replace it. Because once the .dff is changed, you must change the txd too or it will show up white in the game, at least it does for me.

Quadropheniac90
@smtp: Ah, boohoo. I'm sure alot of people on these forums, 'even' the people who help others, have an illegal copy of a GTA game. Quit wining, it's the real world. @Derek11: Maybe it's the tool you're using. Try IMGTool 2.0, that might help.
Derek11
thanx. But where can i get it?
Christovski
also, try rebuilding the archive after you replace the files, it takes a while, but usually if a texture doesnt show up (i.e. the mod appears white) its because the archive hasnt been rebuilt. Somewhere in your IMG file editor (I use IMGtool) should be an option to 'rebuild archive' just click that and once its finished you can close it and start the game, should work.
