Krailer
Since I still don't have enough skills to make vehicles from scratch, I decided to try some editing of the ingame vehicles. The chromes were all retextured except the engine and the rims are now set for a secondary colour (carcols compatible). The only thing scratch made are the mufflers, not meant to be exact replicas of the originals but still aren't looking too bad, I think... tommiegunz
Looking nice dude. Why don't try something extreme? 4 or even more exhausts. And if you want to learn vehicle modelling, I recommend the Audi A3 video tutorial from Blitzze (founded in the Free Tutorial Section of )3d Palace. You will be modeling this car: Front Back
Organic Zero
Looking nice dude. Why don't try something extreme? 4 or even more exhausts. 4 or even more.... god, you should be slaped only for having such idea.... i think 2 is more than enought, only that you should edit the colors a lottel bit more, like cus it's too hard to see the bike shapes... Krailer
I haven't touched this "project" for a while, but last night I decided to give another go.~ A lame attempt of making a mono swinging arm, I'm still not sure if it looks better than the original:

Krailer
I tried to make 5 spoke wheels and it looked really nice in ZMod, but when I tried it in game... What's with all those scratches? I'm guessing it is related with normals (not that I know anything about normals). Any help?
Dazla
have a look at mapping of UV 1 and 2...IE take off the reflection if it has any, then if it works thats ur problem..it aint mapped correctly
Krailer
Thanks mate, you were right. I assigned the vehiclegrunge sec colour to the spokes, but I forgot to uv map it, at all... Mean while I changed the original 6 spoke rear wheel and it seems to look a bit better, so I'll gonna use it instead. Thanks for the help.
Krailer
Just a little update... I was going to lose the half-cowl extra, but then decided to try something different... Still needs to be remapped properly, though. I redesigned the swing arm to add a bit more shape and added a chain (ripped from the PCJ600). The rotors were also retextured (Brembo knockoff ) but the rear one doesn't match all that much... I'll probably change it if I can find a good photo on Google. Yeah, I know, the license plate is kinda lame...
