imheretostay
I'm getting a new computer soon, it will of course, have a new harddrive in it (300gb). I will not be able to take this one out of my comptuer and put it in the new one, because this one I'm using is a friends, and he's getting it back when I get the new PC. I want to get alot of my files over to the new one, and I'll do that via. network cables, no biggie. I would really like to get my Opera bookmarks and cookies transferred to my new harddrive, what files would I have to copy? Also, if I transfer my whole Steam folder, and a few other game and program folders, can I edit entries into the registry to so it knows I have them installed, or will it be better just installing all of it from ground-up? Thanks in advance.

imheretostay
So what about all my other questions?
|Zephyr|
Personally, I would just reinstall them again to avoid any troubles you may encounter. It will also save having to transfer gigabytes of data from one PC to another. So yeah, just do a fresh install.
imheretostay
Thanks, I got the new computer, but unfortunately, when I had set it up, I turned on my old one (the one I wanted to get some files from), but the harddrive died.
