Mr_Hit
Call me an absolute idiot, but some of those screens make me think its from the new VCS.. Some of the screens had that texture that the PSP could only deliver, plus some of the car skins looked different. But with the amount of mods and advanced capabilities of Photoshop these days, i guess you can make anything look like anything. Im 50 - 50 on this. K^2
Remember LCS? What was the first thing you notticed about the pedastrians in it? For me, the first thing I saw was that all, or at least, very nearly all, pedastrian models were reworked. I recognized nearly every pedastrian model among these screenshots. It cannot be VCS. Yes, the skins do look different. In fact, they look higher resolution than VC original skins. However, it simply looks like these skins were exported, scaled, new shading and some noise applied, and re-imported back into VC. That could have been done by anyone with an internet, some free time, and enough memory on video card for higher resolution textures. saintdave
The only difference I have noticed is the design of the cop car in this one - But from the shots and the texture of them, I'd say they are from a beta version of Vice City.
Mike0
It doesnt even matter. We know that the game will be in Vice City. Everything will be revealed in october.
Mr. Fictional
The reason why some of you think them screenshots has the "GTA PSP" feel to it is probably because them images were edited in a GFX program, like Photoshop. They have alsorts of effects, renders and such that can be used to change the look of images. So yeah, I can safely assume these shots are from the original GTA Vice City. MajorGlory
http://static.flickr.com/72/153861427_81238c6229_m.jpgOnly this one seems irregular, a Manana parked outside Cam Jone's place. That's not manana. Anyway, these graphics are too good to be true for the PSP. So fake...
Born Acorn
The only difference I have noticed is the design of the cop car in this one - <Image> But from the shots and the texture of them, I'd say they are from a beta version of Vice City. It is an early version of VC. The Police car design is different in the screenshots in my VC game manual.
Asif
That's not manana. Sorry, my mistake. I didnt notice the rear part - it's actually that station wagon, Regina - most probably.
jrt
It looks too much like Vc for ps2, although, the draw distance isnt as good in those pics, so theres half a chance.
cat33
It cant be from the real VC beacause look at the rims on the Sentinel, they are the rims used in GTA3 for Sentinel and Mafia Sentinel, but the cop car is from GTA VC beta So it could be VCS... Mr_Hit
This is from the October Vice City Trailer. Plus, this pahe has all those pictures un edited. This basically proves that these pics arent from a PSP game.. Edited May 27, 2006 by Mr_Hit
Vanilla Shake
Definitely original Vice City. R* would announce publically if these were real, so I don't even see the point of posting images before any are OFFICIALLY released. Besides, R* won't show any real screens til' around next month...........just like Liberty City Stories last year...............just wait and see...... GTA3Freak-2001
They are all pre-release screenshots of the orginal PS2 Vice City taken on a PC running the game like majority of console games so they of course look slightly better or different.
