Awesome Sauce
So I got SA for PC, and I install it, and it plays, *yay*. Then I decide to change the resolution to fit my monitor and to stop it looking crap, so I do that. Then I get bored and close the game, and when I wanna play it again, It attempts to start up, but it closes itself for some reason that I cannot fathom. What the hell is going on? I defenately have the right specs.
Awesome Sauce
Sorry for the double post, but now that I know how to get around the previous problem, how can I get a 100% save file that works? I've played the PS2 version, I know what the story is, I don't wanna play through it all over again
Mainland Marauder
Sorry for the double post, but now that I know how to get around the previous problem, how can I get a 100% save file that works? How 'bout downloading one from SnP at Mission Help? One's got to be there somewhere. "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be." pdescobar
Sorry for the double post, but now that I know how to get around the previous problem, how can I get a 100% save file that works? Save games are specific to the mission scripts on which they were made. Since you have just recently installed SA, I'm going to assume that you have version 2. In that case, you can use the 100% save from Plaka's v2 save pack.

pdescobar
I need help please First, answer these questions: a) can you start a new game and play? If so, can you save, quit, and then reload your own saved game without a problem? b) have you done any modifications at all to your copy of SA? Then, try this experiment and post the results: Let's try an experiment. 1) Try to load this save, and tell me what happens: http://www.mikehealan.com/gta/mission_saves/savefile1.zip 2) Then try to load this save, and tell me what happens: http://pdescobar.home.comcast.net/gta/temp/1.zip If the first one works, then you somehow have version 1 script files and will need a version 1 save instead. If the second one works, then you definitely have version 2 script files and I don't know why the 100% v2 saves you've tried fail. If neither one works, then you have modified script files or something's really weird about your installation.
