I have done and redone everything on checklists from multiple sites but still can't figure out what i need to get 100%. I am sitting at a 99.47% and have been for some time. Any suggestions, please let me know. This is driving me crazy! suicidal.gif

I'd be willing to bet it's A) The Ammu-Nation Challenge or B) One of the gym masters you haven't beaten yet. wink.gif

Thanks for the info about the gyms and ammunation gun challenge but i completed them both and just retryed and it still didn't work. cryani.gif As for the app that analyzes what u still need to do, i don't know how it will work for the PS2 version. Could you please explain Plaka?

it only works on the PC, actually...use the 100% Checklist and double-check everything on it...

I printed the checklist and still didn't have any luck. I'm ready to give up. If anyone has anymore ideas, please post them.

i think that i'm missing Breaking the Bank at Calligulas. Is there any way of getting the key if Millie got killed? Please let me know.

If Millie was killed, you should have had a phone call from Woozie and there should be a yellow entry arrow at her house that you can use to go in and get the keycard.

If you already have the keycard but are missing that mission, there should be a green $ icon inside the Four Dragons.

If you cheat you can't 100% the game but you probably already know that.

Don't be an idiot. That was proven false years ago. None of the GTA3 games have directly prevented you from getting 100% by cheating. It's possible a cheat can glitch your game, but the only known case of that in San Andreas is not being able to pass the Madd Dogg mission. And you can't get anywhere near 99.47% if you have that glitch.

So again, stop being an idiot and telling people things you don't know.

Really? mercie_blink.gif ..damn all this time I thought it prevented you from getting 100%...I have no idea where I got this information but considering ive been playing for 4-5 years it's hard to tell where I got that info from... tounge.gif

Meh, I still wont use cheats anyway and I'm going for 100% in GTAIII and VC right now and I wouldn't be fully satisfied if I cheated to get it.

The news of GTA: IV somehow inspired me to go for the 100% files...I'm probably going to do SA after these...usually I just stick to the missions/storyline. tounge.gif

You received that information because numerous people keep spreading it around. It was pretty awful in Vice City - there were claims by folks that using the health and armor cheats had somehow "disappeared" a hidden package, thus preventing 100%.

I've got 100% in all 3 games, but I never earned gold in Burn and Lap. I doubt I ever will. That test was just evil!

Damn...I never heard about the hidden package one all I "knew" was that if you used a cheat it automatically prevented you from getting the 100%..otherwise I would've had 100% atleast once in every game most likely. It's all good though, going for 100% now gives me something to do while I'm waiting for GTA: IV, especially when LCS comes outs on PS2 on the 5th of next month or whatever it is, I think it is the 5th..but yea, then I'll have to get 100% in that one too. tounge.gif

Well, cheating in and of itself doesn't necessarily prevent you from getting 100 percent in SA.

It depends on which cheats you use.

It's been proven that using the "Peds Riot" cheat (and, I'm assuming, the similar "Chaos Mode" cheat) makes the mission "Madd Dogg" impossible to complete. Even when disabled after being activated, it causes erratic behavior in NPC's as it does in that mission.

Try doing the test in first-person view. Make your 180-degree burnout turn when you see the cones pass from your field of vision. That's how I got gold. Also, you only need bronze in that test and the rest of them to get 100 percent, in case you didn't know about that. icon14.gif

Do you have all the gang territories taken over? An easy one to forget about is the Vagos territory north of San Fierro

For the purposes of 100 percent completion, takeover of all territories is not necessary.

I think its necessary, since you must have 100% teritories before receive phone call from Sweet to trigger "End of the line" missions. So if you already completed "End of the line", im sure you have 100% teritories (no more attacks from gangs once you have 100% teritories). At least thats what i know dozingoff.gif

I allways thought it was 33% so you could do the mission, could be wrong though

You do need 35 percent to do "End of the Line" but you do not need all gang territory taken over. This is fact. My 100 percent completion save has only about 50 percent of turf under Grove Street Families control.

That's something I already mentioned. And that glitch can never be a concern for someone who has 99.47% completion. There's simply no way they can get that many mission points if they cannot get passed that mission. And since everybody who is convinced that cheating prevents 100% always complains when they're right around 99%, the Madd Dogg glitch should not be an issue.

And the Marauder is correct. 35% of the territories is all you need in your quest for 100%.

lol, I took over the territories 1-2 weeks after I got it or something so I wouldn't have to deal with gangs attacking me.

I knew as much Craig, just pointing that out when it was stated that cheats can prevent one from reaching 100% - not necessarily for those who have reached 99.47%. icon14.gif

That's exactly what I did to pass the burn and lap mission with gold. and i thought i was being original...
