RJHNY1
1. In the stadium in Las Venturas, I broke the record of 25 and that dune car is now outside the stadium. Since I broke the record of 25, am I done with that stadium, or is there more to do? 2. I am on the last quarry mission, the one where you have to dump the cop and his bike into the lake. I am having trouble dumping them into the lake. I manage to get the truck to the edge of the cliff. How do you get the truck to dump the body/bike? Yes, I am right on top of the red circle. Thanks for the help!
crazyanurag
1) you'll also have to complete "Dirt Track", which is available on Monday and Wednesday...if on PC, hit "TAB" to know which day it is... 2)you could try dumping them on the ground, at theedge of the lake, then taking your Dumper back to the Quarry, and get the Dozer...use the Dozer to push them into the lake... hope this helps! Plaka
1. There are 2 Races at that Stadium, one is only available on Monday and Wednesday. 2. Keep your handbrake button/key pressed whle you lift the tipper body - default keys are 2/8 on your NUMBER pad.
rubregg
1. ...all said... 2. It happened to me before, that the body wouldn't fall out although I had completely raised the truck's back. In that case a little gas followed by handbrake helped, you might have to do it a couple of times...
Wolf68k
It's been a while since I've done it, but can't just just drive the truck with the bike in the back into the water and just swim out?
crazyanurag
It's been a while since I've done it, but can't just just drive the truck with the bike in the back into the water and just swim out? nope...the mission fails if you dump the Dumper (excuse the sad attempt at a joke) into the water...it's stupid, but hey, what can you do? RJHNY1
Ok, thank you guys. I didn't know the dumper could be raised. I bought this game a year ago and then I didn't play it for a year. Now i'm back trying to get 100%. All the odd jobs and stuff. I'll try it soon and let you guys know. Thanks!
RJHNY1
Finished the quarry mission! Thanks again. The dirt bike mission is hard! Any tips?
HerrieM
Dirtbike can be hard at first. Tips: Stay a bit behind on the first two jumps, so you don't get draged down by the opponents that can't drive straight When cornering use the handbrake instead of normal brake. Level yourself during jumps. Go straight up the yellow ramp and steer right in the air to prevent CJ from spinning. I hope some of these tips help
crazyanurag
The dirt bike mission is hard! Any tips? i hope you're talking about "Dirt Track" and not "Kickstart"...apart from HerrieM's excellent tips, the one other thing to help you here is a high Bike Skill...maxing that out gets you through this event much quicker... if you are, by chance, talking about "Kickstart", try Plaka's video You'll Never Walk Alone
quartet1977
if you're talking about dirt track rather than kickstart, here's another tip: after you go around the second curve, there's a series of three jumps. the last one is dangerous, and if you don't take it slow, you will crash. fortunately, the other bikers you're racing against never figure that out, so they always crash. do it right and you'll pass a bunch of them at this point. you also can kill the other bikers and win that way, but it's tough. the minigun or the heat seeking rocket launcher are probably the best weapons. the one time i did it that way, i hopped off my bike, waited for the others to appear, and shot as many as i could before i was disqualified for being off the bike too long. then i hopped back on the bike, got off again, waited and shot some more. my finishing time was horrible (like ten or twelve minutes) but at the time it was the only way i could beat the mission. now i'm a bit better at it and can win without killing anyone (myself included ). i've tried it this way on other occasions and failed, so don't think this is an easy solution. EDIT: i just did the race again to see how easy it is to use the minigun to kill the other bikers. too easy! took just under eight minutes. go just past the place i describe in my tip where everyone crashes. sit on your bike with your minigun ready and wait for them there. when riders appear, get off your bike and waste them. then get back on your bike and wait for more to come and kill them too. because the other riders are at least one lap ahead of you, your position in the race won't change until you've gone a full lap or more after killing the last of them. that can be confusing. the first time i did this, i thought more riders had entered the race, but i just hadn't gone as far yet as the ones i killed. soon as i had, my position changed to first, and i won the race. you'll probably get two wanted levels, but they'll be gone by the time the race is over. RJHNY1
I already finished Kick Start, so I'm not talking about that. Kick Start wasn't too bad. It just takes a few tries to figure out which coronas are the best ones to target. I am talking about dirtbike. All those tips sound great. I think I'm gonna try the suggestion of killing the other bikers. Which gun is the minigun? I don't know all of the guns by name. Is the minigun one of those 4 weapons that appear outside your casino in LV? I'm pretty sure I am maxed out on the biking skills. If not maxed out, then close to it. Thanks again...let me know which gun is the minigun and I'll try it tomorrow.
quartet1977
From Mainland Marauder's excellent weapons guide 105B: Minigun: GTA is one of several video game franchises to use the minigun, although it is named differentl in some other games (e.g. "chaingun" in Doom). It is a smaller, rifle-caliber Gatling gun, externally-powered and much heavier and harder to control than as portrayed in San Andreas, or by various movies (Terminator 2, the original Predator to name a couple). Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator used a minigun loaded with blanks that reduce the weight and recoil in T2. Even then, it's become part of Hollywood lore that he was the only man on the set strong enough to carry it. The minigun is much more commonly used as a fixed weapon by the U.S. armed forces (like the gunner in the helicopter in Full Metal Jacket) and depending on the branch of the military and model the minigun has different designations. The minigun as it exists today was designed by General Electric, parent company of NBC. Think about that next time you watch a "Friends" rerun. If you do, visions of Jennifer Aniston making like Tommy Vercetti on an on-set Vice City-style rampage could enter your mind. In the game, the effect of the weight and recoil is underestimated greatly as CJ jogs (but can't run) with this cumbersome killer, holding it in place with ease as he blows apart police cars and aircraft. Pickups are hard to come by, but one of the Minigun and the other heavy weapons appears at Mike Toreno's cabin after you complete "Vertical Bird." When you do this, you can use the save point outside, save continuously and make the pickup reappear until you have all the ammo you want. Surprisingly, the minigun is a cinch to aim in CJ's hands, no differently than the sniper rifle (sans scope). After a momentary delay after hitting and holding the fire button, rapid-firing and immensely destructive rounds shoot forth and make the target look like the plot of a bad porn movie - full of holes and hollow to the core. Get one and have some fun. Beware, you'll rack up wanted stars swiftly once the minigun massacre begins. If you have enough ammo, the police choppers will be no match for you. You have to fire a quite a bit on the Rhinos at six stars, though, if you want to destroy them. Locations: * On the southwestern bridge support tower for the Kincaid Bridge, San Fierro. * Mike Toreno's ranch, Tierra Robada (after completing "Vertical Bird"). * In north west corner of lower level of the parking building in Roca Escalante, Las Venturas (west of V-Rock Hotel). * On the highest level of the building under construction in Rockshore East, Las Venturas. rubregg
(...) at the time it was the only way i could beat the mission. now i'm a bit better at it and can win without killing anyone (myself included ). i've tried it this way on other occasions and failed, so don't think this is an easy solution. Hahaha, it was exactly the same for me! So RJHNY1, the one most important tip for this mission has got to be: stay calm and have patience. For me this was one of the hardest missions of the game and it took me sh*tloads of practice until I finally won it (without minigun that is...). As for those 3 consecutive jumps - I always slow down for the 1st and 2nd and I speed up for the 3rd levelling my bike with UP and DOWN keys when in the air... --> Good luck & don't despair, you'll do it in the end
RJHNY1
So, I decided to go the minigun route. I won the race in a whopping 11:53! Who cares, I wasted all of the other bikers and got the BF Injection. Thank you for all for the tips, they were great. I am well into the 90's in my quest for 100%. I have a few more questions 1. Where is the best place to do the pimping missions? I already have a broadway in a garage in San Fiero. Should I do the pimping mission in one of the hilly billy towns? 2. I don't remember if I did the ammunation gun missions in the backroom. I remeber doing some of it a year ago, but I don't know if I completed it all. In my "stats," how can I check to see if I satisfied that? Thanks again guys, you all have been so helpful.

Should I do the pimping mission in one of the hilly billy towns? I've always done the pimping missions in Los Santos. Don't know if that's a better or worse place, but I just like to get it out of the way early. 2. I don't remember if I did the ammunation gun missions in the backroom. If so, use SAMA to help you figure out what you're missing. it analyses your save game and shows you what you've done and what you have left. good luck! Thanks again guys, you all have been so helpful. Happy to help! That's what we are here for. Edited May 27, 2006 by quartet1977
