The Complete Guide to Cars And Weapons in LCS

Recommended Posts

The Sniper Rifle is on top of the construction site roof, Hepburn Heights. So yes it's Portland.

For further information regarding weapon locations check out the weapon locations guide.

Thanks alot Dave colgate.gif

I dunno if anyone has noticed this.

But the Maverick has a slightly thicker tail then before..

The Maverick in VC and SA and the Police and VCN Maverick has no changes.

It's only the LCS Maverick which seems to have had a facelift xD

According to this very guide it's deemed quite rare to find, however on further research on various other GTA sites it seems that the vehicle is not readily available to use in game and you wont be able to get it without the Cheat Device.

Update: 17/8/08

Rather soon I'm gonna go back and get all the weapon images back, and just generally update the guide. So look out for that.

With the image limit upped I will also be able to add in any missing weapons.

Latest Update: 19/8/08

- Recaptured all the missing weapon images.

- Added the missing weapons.

- Generally cleaned the guide up and corrected spelling errors.

More than two years after it was first posted, and I'm still going at it:

I now claim this guide officially complete! biggrin.gif

If you spot an error, or think I'm missing something, please let me know and I'll sort it out, I aren't the stubborn git I used to be. That said, do not, under any circumstances, tell me that I have missed the screwdriver. I have searched high and low, manually tried every weapon spawn and searched for cheats to give me this damn thing, with no luck. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that it does not exist in the game; everyone who claims to have seen it actually has the chisel, trust me on that one. smile.gif

Things to possibly look out for in the future:

- An overhaul of the graphics and banners, I might replace them with something a little more flashy.

- A possible downloadable PDF version of the guide.

- A HTTP version of the guide accessible and custom written for the PSP browser.

Thanks folks, I'm out.

user posted image Name: SPAS12 (Combat Shotgun)

Power: 9.5/10

Firing Speed: 6/10

Comments: The strongest of the 3 shotguns, it offers more

power and a faster reloading speed. And it looks cooler.

user posted image Name: Sniper Rifle

Power: 9/10

Firing Speed: 7/10

Comments: The older, worse of the two sniper rifles, this

one has a normal scope and no laser targeting. Is capable

of fatal shots, blowing off arms, legs and heads. Tasty.

user posted image Name: PSG1 (Laser Scope)

Power: 9/10

Firing Speed: 8/10

Comments: The more modern sniper rifle, this one has all

the capabilities of the previous one, but has laser targeting.

user posted image Name: Tec 9

Power: 6/10

Firing Speed: 9.5/10

Comments: An SMG. All of them are pretty similar, this one

is from San Andreas and possibly the weakest one.

user posted image Name: Micro-SMG

Power: 6.5/10

Firing Speed: 9.5/10

Comments: See above.

user posted image Name: MP5

Power: 7/10

Firing Speed: 9.5/10

Comments: The strongest SMG. See above.

user posted image Name: Grenade

Power: 8.5/10

Firing Speed: N/A

Comments: Explodes after around 3 seconds, so make sure you're

clear of the area.

user posted image Name: Remote Grenade

Power: 8.5/10

Firing Speed: N/A

Comments: Just like the grenade, except it explodes on demand via

use of a detonator. A lot more useful than the normal grenade.

user posted image Name: Molotov Cocktail

Power: 7/10

Firing Speed: N/A

Comments: A lighted rag in a bottle of spirits. Explodes into

fire when thrown, igniting anything near it, including you if

you're close enough.

user posted image Name: Hunter

ID: 213

Speed: 7/10

Availability: CheatDevice only

Comments: Oh yes! The hunter is back! Comes with rockets and a chaingun,

you're almost invincible in this thing.

user posted image Name: Maverick

ID: 214

Speed: 6/10

Availability: CheatDevice or mission exploit only.

Comments: Your standard helicopter back from VC and SA. Pretty fast, but can

only be obtained through CheatDevice or via an exploit in "Calm Before the Storm" (at time of writing) or at least one other mission (discovered later) If you don't have CheatDevice access, Google is your friend.

user posted image Name: Police Maverick

ID: 215

Speed: 6/10

Availability: CheatDevice only.

Comments: Just like the maverick but with a police paint scheme and a slightly thinner tail. Other

than that no differences to the Maverick.

user posted image Name: VCN Maverick

ID: 216

Speed: 5/10

Availability: CheatDevice only.

Comments: A left over model from VC. It has the permanent "Chrome Cars" cheat

effect on it for some reason, and as like VC is a lot harder to control than

it's sisters.

user posted image Name: Dodo

ID: 164

Speed: 7/10

Availability: CheatDevice only.

Comments: A left over model from GTA3. It's a lot easier to control than

in GTA3, because it had custom created handling in the CheatDevice.

user posted image Name: Linerunner

ID: 134

Speed: 3/10

Weight: 10/10

Availability: Uncommon

Comments: This is one big freakin' truck. It's big, it's slow, and it handles terribly.

And the AI can't drive it round corners without destroying half a dozen things.

Location: Around the Portland docks.

user posted image Name: Pony

ID: 144

Speed: 5/10

Weight: 6/10

Availability: Uncommon-ish

Comments: Your standard van, not much to say really. Pretty slow,

crap handling.

Location: Driving around Portland.

user posted image Name: Mule

ID: 145

Speed: 5.5/10

Weight: 7/10

Availability: Uncommon-ish

Comments: The upgraded version on the Pony, heavier but slightly faster.

Tips pretty easily.

Location: Around the docks on Portland.

user posted image Name: Securicar

ID: 159

Speed: 4/10

Weight: 8/10

Availability: Rare

Comments: The safe on wheels. This thing can honestly take a sh*te load

of damage, although it isn't very fast. Can be used as a battering ram at once it gets going a bit.

Location: Driving around Staunton Island.

It`s also not really necessairy to quote a post with so many pictures, it makes your post very big while your actual writting is just a line or two.
