the downward spiral
If you've ever seen the movie "Shaun of the Dead", then you've seen Simon Pegg (Shaun) and Nick Frost (Ed). Well those two, Shaun and Ed, have their own show on BBC in England, I think (I'm american), but it's only available in England. Well I've seen about a minute of the show on youtube and it's funny as hell. Fortuanetly, Their show "Spaced" is coming to BBCAmerica which is on channel 2xx cause i forgot. Main point is, the actors from shaun of the dead are gonna let their show air in the U.S ! We'll have to wait until June 23, 2006 but it's soo worth the wait. Just go to wikipedia and look up Spaced to see more info on the show.
Goodfella.
It was actually on Channel 4 over here, and is a few years old now. Never the less it's a great show, watch it.

And if you don't... you don't even want to know what I'll do to you. I don't even know. That's how bad it'll be. Get the boxed set, you f*cker. Barguast
"You lucky people!" You probably have to be as obsessed with the series as I am to get that reference. Certainly one of the best sitcoms I've ever seen, though I'm sure it had been screened in the US before?

CarpetDweller
I can't recommend this show enough. It's one of my favourite shows of all time and I was only watching my box set yet again last week. I thought it had been screened in the US already, but catch it if you can. I don't know how well some of it will be received as there are some references to things that probably never made it across the atlantic like 80's british kids TV shows. I guess people pick up the references they get and just ignore those they don't. Spaced perfectly summed up a lot of the aspects of being in my twenties while adding a cinematic and fantastically surreal edge - Bring on the third series! and yes I got the "You lucky people!" reference.
