lord fido
Hi. I need the coords to be on top of the solid box in Ghost town. Thanks.
Demarest
You don't really think those that play the game can just hand over coords, do you? You'd have a better shot in the modding section. However, you could just as easily look at the map files and such to determine where solidity is mapped since it's so obscure and so far away from everything else. Spenc938
What is a coord? Is that something to do with whether something is solid or not?
Demarest
Coord is an abreviation for the word coordinate; a point on a plane used to describe it's position on that plane.
Spenc938
Oh, okay I guess that was kind of obvious. Wasn't really thinking.

Ben
O K. Whatever you reckon . Anyways, I decided to take the 2 mins to do the work for you lord fido, by loading up MEd and finding the box you speak of. Seriously, that's how easy it is - you don't even need to know mapping. Next time, you should have a shot at it yourself . But for the sake of anyone else interested, the coords are: -524.866x 1050.98y 37.3963z The z value may be a bit out though as MEd selects coords for the centre of the object, but those coords should be more or less correct . Silberio
Lord Fido! r u chilean, or is it a bug of my comp, cuz i c chile's flag under ur avatar... nvm...i realy wanna ask, is there some tool to display coords "in-game"??
Ben
It can be done through modding the SCM, but I don't know how exactly. Dem's site might have a tool that does it - I'm pretty sure he did Coordinator for VC, so there's a fair chance he might have something similar for GTA3. If not, look around the modding sections here - if you still can't find anything, ask someone to make it in the Requests forum (read the pinned rules there though) .
