Slider388 Posted April 18, 2006 Share Posted April 18, 2006 Hi everybody, Fuzzy Juzzy,you hepled me a lot last time when my copy of vice city didn't work.Now I need help again.whenever I start the mission at diaz's "supply at demand"there's the introduction to the mission,then you walk over to the fastest boat at the jetty,find lance in the boat,there's the conversation,but hten,just as the mission starts,the screen goes black and this small"unhandled exception" wondow comes up saying: Unhandled exception: c0000005 At adress: 10002041 Please help me!!!Thanks a lot in advance! Justin Posted April 18, 2006 Share Posted April 18, 2006 First of all, I want you to follow the prompts in this topic. Just answer all the questions as best you can, and post them as a reply in this topic. Have you modded the game at all? If you have, uninstall the mods and try the mission again. Mods will always be the source of the problem if they're installed. If you're having problems doing that, simply uninstall the whole game and then re-install it. Have you changed anything major on your computer? For example, a video card. If so, uninstall Vice City, delete 'My Documents\GTA Vice City User Files\gta_vc.set', and then re-install. Other extra information can be found in the pinned bug list. Problems two and seven look relevant. Also end all non-essential processes (open Task Manager via CTRL+ALT+DEL and hit the 'processes' tab and end anything you recognise that needn't be running). This especially applies to anti-virus and the sort. We'll be able to help more after we're given the answers to those questions. Good luck. I've added a need for speed ungerground tachometer,but that's all.I'll try the mission without it.I haven't done any major changes,and i'll try to close the useless processes.emarest,thanks for your advice,I'll try it now.I tell you how everything worked afterwards.thanks!
