SWEETSAPRIK
It shows whether the member is online or not. Unless they set themselves to anonymous, then they will always look like they aren't online. And this should probably been asked in one of the network forums. PяopagaиdaIиc. Ben
No no no, you gotta listen to the way people talk. You don't say "Affirmative" or some sh*t like that, you say "No problemo"... -Terminator 2. Yep, I've seen that movie way too many times . I guess this should go in forum suggestions, but seeing as this topic is here, I'll just post it anyway. Do you think that there should be some sort of automated Welcome to GTAF PM automatically sent out to new members when they sign up? (Perhaps there already is, but I don't recall getting one ). It could have a link to the Forum Rules topic, and perhaps some background info on each of the forum areas, what certain things mean at the forums, etc. (covering issues such as this). If anyone's interested, I can probably draft something up for some more feedback. Or you can just feed this idea to the pigs .

My only beef is that I don't see why many people would read it in the first place - those that would are the kind of members who're likely to read pinned topics and not get into mischief anyway, while those that wouldn't are the opposite. Great idea in theory, but I'm not sure how successful it'd prove to be in practice.
Ben
lol - quote from Snatch for those not paying attention ! Yeah, I figured it would probably have been brought up before. Admittedly though, for the number of people who would read it, it's really just an unnecessary strain on the server. Nevermind .
GTA_Loco
It's still a good idea though that the staff might want to consider. It increases the chances IMO of newcomers getting aware of the rules in the forum that must be followed before they do any unnecesary postings. If that system had been implemented, I for one would not have spammed this forum by posting this topic But it'll always be the call of the staff here whether to consider that suggestion eventually or just feed it to the pigs.
