sleeplate
nope- cj stays buffed up after you worked him up to 100% muscle. You only want a weight gain when you date Michele (inside the driving school) in SF- she likes fat men so you have to become bulimic and eat your heart out on king size meals real quick- then you gain weight fast. Helena, (the girl on top of the ammunation shooting the desert eagle) likes her men slim without much muscle so you gotta become anorexic- dont eat for a few days (you have to be doing stuff- no saving games) and youll begin to lose that muscle real quick. Make sure you eat when ur under 25% muscle- otherwise you starve to death. Bulimia, Anorexia- this game teaches us the "healthy" ways of life- fawget about the killing, sex and stealing. Oh, and collect all 50 oysters and there are no more appearance standards for the girlfriends. After that, you can go pick up Helena wearing a Binco T-shirt and trucker hat, fully muscled, and get "coffee" after the date. This is the only part of the game where I mess with either Helena or Michelle. "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be." Helena is REALLY annoying because she is so out of the way, in the Badlands is the only time you should date her in my opinion.

Bulimia, Anorexia- this game teaches us the "healthy" ways of life- fawget about the killing, sex and stealing. heh, interesting way to put it... but you give ill representation of said eating disorders. Bulimia is a disorder that a person has when they binge and eat and then forcefully make themselves throw it back up. CJ does vomit if he eats enough... but that's more cause he ate till he was sick or "ate till his stomache exploded"... not cause he makes himself puke to keep weight down. Also, Anorexia has nothing to do with muscle depletion... Anorexia is a disorder where one will starve him/herself to loose weight. This is similar to fasting, but is considered Anorexia once the individual is no longer in control of eating and the mind refuses to allow food consumption... Fasting is a physical act where Anorexia is a mental condition that can be more convincing than true sight and can be harder to beat than your ex in an arguement. Anorexia can lead to weak muscles and lack of energy or strength to use said muscle's... but won't loose your muscle mass like it happens in the game... instead, you become all fat and flabby instead. Still, interesting methaphor's/example's nonetheless...
sleeplate
yo man- im a psych major- taking psych of addictive behaviors and abnormal psych- so i can tell you straight off that your partially correct. Bulimia CAN be when one forces himself/herself to throw up after eating. However if you look in the DSM-IV-TR (the psych manual) you will find that someone who overeats intentionally in order to gain weight because of depressive episodes is ALSO classified as bulimic. True CJ here isnt really depressed- he is just doing it to lay this girl Michelle. But i was just kidding anyways with the bulimic/anorexic line. Secondly, Anorexia Nervosa is when an individual is so obsessed with their body image that they will keep on thinking they are fat/obes/ugly - even when they are as low as 40lbs underwieght. So losing weight to lay a girl who is obsessed with a slim body image can be diognosed as Anorexia Nervosa IF the individual recieves negative projections from their peers/lovers/girlfriends that they are too fat. Not eating for days in order to lose weight and keep those pounds off also would recieve a diagnosis of anorexia. However, if you read the DSM you'll see that these symptoms must last for longer than three weeks, so CJ is not anorexic. Interesting to note- Bulimia and Anorexia Nervosa are often tied into each other- often an Anorexic individual will "binge n' barf" similarly to a bulimic individual. But the main difference is in the compulsion of the anorexic, who shares many common attributes with an OCD (Obsesive Compulsive Disorder) individual. Enough Lectures- Let's EAT YUMMMMMMMMYYYYY
Kremit
Anorexia Nervosa is when an individual is so obsessed with their body image that they will keep on thinking they are fat/obes/ugly Yea, and I touched on this... the disorder you've described has a process/method of fasting or starving one's self to loose weight/fat/inches... not muscle. That's all I was getting at there. You won't LOOSE the muscle in real life... but enough fasting and non-excercise, the body can become too weak to maintain physical upkeep and the muscle may turn into flabby fat, which can then be lost at this time. As for Bulimia for those who eat while depressed... Perhaps you may be thinking of the depression, guilt and/or self-disgust a Bulimic person may experience after binging... but I don't think they binge because of the depression, that just seems oxymoronic. What you've described sounds more along the lines of Binge Eating Disorder which is similar, but not to be confused with, Bulimia. In Binge Eating, the sufferer will eat to drown out or hide from their feelings and/or emotions. But ya, like you said... why knitpick over oranges and tangerines? Pass the salt and let's get eatin instead
