Anyways, I personally think GTA3 was better because it had a more real life feel to it, and it had more challenging missions. But that's just my opinion. For those who were awed by the presence of the long-awaited 3D third person shooter when it first hit stores, it's something special and will always be revered as one phenomenal game. If you only started playing when the series had been built up to Flying School, tri-city states complete with countryside, and swimming, this will seem like a step back for you. Sorry you thought it sucked (though, in the attempt to decipher your post, it seems your computer is having trouble running the game, in which case you shouldn't judge GTA3 on the capabilities of your system). Couldnt have said it better myself....Its true if not for GTAIII there prolbably wouldnt be a VC or SA. GTAIII was the game that changed GTA forever. When we were all playing GTA2, with the silly birds eye view mode, we dreamed of a game that would forevor change our lives and actually be 3-D. When I got my GTA3, I treasured it. I never lent it to anyone, and took great care of it. Soon enough, the game evolved, and out came Vice. Never say GTA3 is crap, its far from it. To be honest, you're giving GTA3 WAY too much credit - look at it logically and you'll soon see it's a steaming pile of sh*t. Also, watch out for these cunning evil blokes by the names of Demarest and benisablink182fan - they're poison and will try to no end to convert you to the dark (GTA3) side. Y_Less chops Bens head off with half a dozen flying VC vehicles Fuzzy knows what he's on about, if you're so obsessed with 3 why are you doing LC? That's just attempting to bring 3 to somewhere the level of VC. SA was faaaar too big and 3 was just not as good gameplay or modding wise (and SA just sucks for modding). Mike0 Posted May 11, 2006 Share Posted May 11, 2006 GTA III is a true classic game which will always be remembered. The storyline is the best off all the GTAs and the main character is the coolest. And the soundtrack is awesome because they even made songs themselves and sang about Liberty City. Check out Lips 106 and hear it for yourself. In that way its the best GTA of all. You have to look past the technical views. The only game that comes close is Vice City (I love the 80s USA). San Andreas is also great and congratz to Rockstar for putting that much content inside. SA is the biggest let down i have ever had. its too big, the missions are rubbish, theres too many worthless addons and sidegames, the graphics on the cars is hopeless, the radio has got nothing on GTA 3s Chatterbox, I COULD GO ON ALL DAY!!!IT SUCKS!!!
